When Horizon Pest control started business, Carlsbad New Mexico was in need of a great pest and weed spraying company. The lure of the last oil boom had led most of the local pest service companies away from residential and local commercial clients. The few reputable companies left in Carlsbad were struggling to keep up with the demand.
Rushed jobs and companies trying to provide service to both the oilfield and local clients were leading to inferior results. Yes, Carlsbad was in need. But not just for another pest service company that was stretched too thin to do a great job by taking on both the oilfield and local residential business.

Horizon provides pest and weed control services to all of the local Carlsbad area as well as all of Eddy County New Mexico and some parts of West Texas. At Horizon, we have Weed Control down to a science. As well, we have the experience of treating countless yards, commercial properties, oilfield locations and more in the Carlsbad, Artesia, and Eddy County area of Southeast New Mexico.

Horizon Pest control has been taking care of our home for years and service is awesome. Not only are they dependable but stand behind their work 100% they are polite, respectful and VERY reasonably priced. Did I mention Steve the owner is a Christian. You can't beat that combination. We are completely satisfied with the service they provide and highly recommend them. They are a 5 star business in every aspect.

I had a termite inspection done for a new home I’m purchasing and Horizon Pest Control did the inspection. They were kind, courteous, and they were very quick to set up an appointment. I called and within a couple days they were able to come out and do the inspection. They know their bug stuff too!! Lol I would recommend them to any of my friends or family that needed an inspection done or for a monthly home spray.

I called Horizon Pest Control to take care of a lot of weeds that were getting out of control at my husband's shop. Steve showed up immediately, gave me a free estimate and had the job completed within a couple of days.
