Avoid this business.
I had a disheartening experience when I called for an appointment. The receptionist took my information and then asked what I was seeking therapy for to see if they would accept me as a patient. This is not Hippa compliant and it gave me alarm bells. They also advertise many clinicians on the website but the receptionist explained there were only two practitioners that do therapy appointments, neither was Dr. Blanchard and only one of the two options had finished training for licensing. In the end, I never heard back which I suppose is lucky. Although as someone in need

I used to go to Dr Blanchfield for a couple years and she is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve seen. Her practice really takes into consideration all aspects of wellness. No other psychiatrist has had a detailed questionnaire to go through at each visit with a staff member (nurses I believe) prior to meeting with the doctor. But they do this at Blanchfield’s practice. She then is prepared to go through it all in a more focused way when you meet with her (and so are you). Dr. Blanchfield actually listened and sympathized (which feels rare in my experience with psychiatrists), and she didn’t

Dr. Blanchfield prescribed a medication for my daughter, who is a traumatic brain injury survivor, at a dosage that was way too high for her and exacerbated her risk for falling. At the time, my daughter and I were stranded on opposite coasts because of Covid. My calls to Dr B were misdirected more than once by her office staff, and when I finally reached her to plead that she at least monitor my daughter's blood pressure, she ignored my warning. She and her staff did not even agree on the dosage that my daughter was taking, although both were too high for safety. I was so concerned that

Patient for 2 1/2 yrs, until I discharged because I'd made the huge mistake of believing that my well-being was genuinely cared about. That she really wanted to know how I was. After all, there were the questionnaires to be filled out every visit, after check-in, asking several ways how I'm feeling. Then after the 25-35 min wait, her nurse would ask questions about how I was feeling. 30-60 minutes later, she would ask me how I was, while reading the nurse's notes.
I very naively thought that I was with safe, compassionate people, who wanted to help me, and I certainly wanted help

If you want a thoughtful, thorough diagnosis, with a prescription that actually works, see Dr. Blanchfield or Dr. Henig. The follow up is amazing, in terms of adjusting/adding/subtracting meds. Yes, it takes some time and patience to adjust to the process and personalities. I found it worth the investment.
If you want meds fast, this is not the place.
If you have been to a lot of docs and need real assistance in figuring out how to help yourself, this is your team. The docs will also talk with your therapist and/or gyn, if desired, for continuity of care.

STAY AWAY!!!!! This is possibly the most inconsiderate, inconvenient doctors I have ever been too. She is ridiculously expensive, doesn't take any health insurance, and does not care about your situation at all. If you need a note for work or something, she charges $50 for 45min to right a small paragraph...! After she gets her money she doesn't care. Save yourself the headache, the main excuse for not being able to talk to me was, "Dr.B is busy..." why take on more clients, if you cant help the ones you have personally. My first time at her office she had me wait for an hr

I would highly recommend not using this
facility due to the long wait times
and serious inconsideration of the patients that
have to take time off from work and a 1 hour appt
turns into 2 hours.
You will leave there with more anxiety then
you did when you got there. The Dr's are great but the staff
and office manager do not know how to schedule appt's
and people/patients are constantly going up to the window
and asking how much longer before I am seen.
God forbid they call in a prescription, that is a whole other issue, it can take
up to a week to get it filled.......JOKE!
