Jim graduated from Illinois State University in 1979 receiving his B.S. in Business Administration. He began a career in transportation sales and management. This resulted in numerous and frequent relocations for his family. In 1985 Jim sought a career that was not only personally and professionally fulfilling, but also afforded the opportunity to establish security for his family, as well as strong community ties.

My wife, Vicki, and I have lived in Mahomet for over 30 years. Our daughter, Melissa, and her husband, John, currently live in Hawaii with their children, Meridian, Sam and Maddon. Our son, Steven, and his wife, Laura, live in Colorado with their children, Kepler and Mackenzie. We love being grandparents!
