Called for a fence quote and the receptionist stated that they don't service Rochester Hills. Weird considering it is just a drive up Crooks from their office. However they show photos on their website of fences that were installed in the City of Rochester LOL. Apparently I am not the only person that has gotten this response before. Probably for the best anyways.

The sales staff and front desk team at Action Fence are fantastic. Tom came out to do a quote for me and made sure to explain the process, what needed to be done, and why in a way I could understand. The front desk staff, Jenny in particular, always super nice whenever I call in.
The fence is high quality, and I'm excited to be apart of what I consider the "Action Fence" club.
The only thing that took me by surprise was lack of communication on the installation crews end. The gentlemen who came out were friendly, but I never really got a heads up on what time they were coming. If I had a call

I called to set up an appointment to get an estimate. I had to know how many feet I wanted to have installed before she would even make an appointment. If I knew all the answers why call to get an estimate? After telling me they would not be interested unless it was over 100 feet she informed me that smaller jobs would be considered after July.
Informed her I would contact someone that would give me an estimate. Wasted phone call!!

I came back to Action Fence this year to complete a privacy fence for my yard because they put up a fence for me about four years ago and did a great job. This time, it was a nightmare. Terry came out and quoted me and told me it would be about 3-4 weeks After more than a month, my fence had not begun after I gave my deposit of 1/3 of the fence cost. When I had a conversation with Terry to discuss how I wanted my fence on one side, he talked down to me and said "let me be the fence guy," to which I responded, that I am the customer. The installers do not know how to make the wood flush

Preface: We didn't hire Action Fence, our neighbors did. We have no issue with our neighbors, they gave us lots of notice that the fence was going up and were not home at the time.
Action Fence decided to use our property as their staging area for installing the fence. They started by letting the first section of fence they removed drop into our yard, crushing several plants. I went out to inspect the damage. They did not apologize. At all. I was told, oh, yeah....it happens. I was polite, but very clear in my displeasure. I had a great experience and receive an excellent fence at a competitive price.
The owner, Terry, came out met with me to evaluate my needs. After getting other estimates, the price was lower than I expected. Also, they kept me informed during the process.
My neighbor recommended Action fence, and I'm glad I took her advice.

Action Fence was recommended to me by a childhood friend when I was complaining to him about wanting a privacy fence between my property and my neighbor's property.
The Action Fence crew installed the fence under strenuous conditions (the neighbor actually put a sprinkler on them and even called the police on the fence crew because they didn't like the idea of a fence going up!), and crew kept their cool and completed the job. The fence looks great and the intended purpose of privacy has been satisfied.

Had a terrible experience with Terry, the owner of Action Fence. I authorized a work order and gave the owner a deposit. He promised he would have the project completed the week of August 3rd . After numerous phone calls and messages left that went unreturned, the owner finally picked up after I questioned the receptionist regarding a Friday timeframe... which then became a Monday completion date. He said he no longer wanted to do the work.
I wish I had never done business with them, next time I'll review the Yelp comments and
