Services
This particular condo is called 'The Patriot' and showcases America's greatness with photos of our beloved military family and friends (feel free to add to our collection!), artwork with historical songs and documents from our great nation, famous American literature and more! The Patriot is a cozy unit for 6, but we find it adds to the experience and feel of staying in a real 'barracks.'
This particular condo is called 'The Cowboy' and boasts pictures and artwork of famous cowboys (think Lonesome Dove) and cowboys in their element, branding irons, genuine leather saddle that has seen the rugged trails of the Bob Marshall Wilderness and more! The Cowboy is a cozy unit for 6, but we find it adds to the experience and feel of staying in a real 'bunkhouse.'
Whether you're a local or a visitor, our laundromat is clean, fresh, and ready to handle your dirty laundry. Our retro-style coin operated laundromat was inspired by the original self-service laundromats of the 50s and 60s. Open for use 7 days a week, 8am-10pm. Waiting on your clothes to dry? Pop next door to our neighbor, Fieldheads Coffee Roasting Co., for a warm drink or a savory snack.
Stash your stuff in one of our 10 mini storage units housed in the lower level of The American. We offer 24-hour surveillance, quality ventilation to ensure your items are safe and secure, and ease of access right in downtown Bigfork, Montana. Whether you're heading out for a season or need some extra space for the long haul, we're here to help.
And many stop in Bigfork on their way to the incredible outdoor playgrounds of Glacier National Park, the Jewel Basin, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and more. Bigfork is home to a year-round community of residents who love our village, as well as seasonal residents and folks just passing through. Why not come on down and stay awhile?

We stayed in all 5 of the vacation rentals last year and REALLY enjoyed them! We're actually planning on staying here again this upcoming year as well! The laundromat is also very convenient and everything was always clean and in great shape. Great place with very friendly and accommodating people!

Beautiful, stylish, super clean place with well maintained washers and dryers. Plenty of units available. There is a machine to exchange coins as well as a machine to buy soap and softener if you don't bring yours. Had a problem with one of the machines, called the number available and, in a reasonable time frame, the owner came and solved kindly. I wish all laundromats were like this one. It is not the cheapest (1.75 for 45min drying and 2.75 max to wash in hot + heavy) but you do get what you paid for. As a plus, cute places around to have a coffee, beer or a meal while waiting in the charming

The American is clean and modern coin-op laundry, close to camping at Wayfarers and in town at Bigfork. We put in our loads, set the timer and walked to the Beer Garden for a Montana Brew. Flipped to dry, set the timer and walked to Old Bridge Pub for another. Carts and folding table provided. If beer is not your thing, Fieldheads Coffee Roasting Co is right next door.

I did laundry there today. I did two loads. Facilities were clean but my laundry was not. The washers did a very poor job. I wouldn’t spend $4 a load here again. In response to the reply below, I did see the phone number posted but I was not having machine troubles. I just did not find the clothes to be clean when the loads were completed. That didn’t seem like something to call about. I paid $2.25 for a medium wash load (light wash was $2.00) and $1.75 for the dry. So it was $4.00 per load for my wash.

Great stay at The Patriot theme condo. It’s perfect for families with kids as there are two separate bedrooms, one with two sets of bunks, the other a comfy queen. It’s so clean and the location is phenomenal—walk to trails and restaurants! The lake is just a couple blocks and the river is literally across the street. A gourmet coffee roastery is next door. Truly a special place and incredible value!

I broke my dryer this week & was a little wary of having to wash my family’s clothes in a public laundromat. I had a completely different vision in mind, so when I stumbled upon this place today I was pleasantly surprised to say the very least. Super cute, CLEAN, newly renovated laundromat in a perfect location. Great prices, with everything you need, & dryer balls to borrow! I truly enjoyed my down time there today.

We are on a one-month travel trip in a cabover camper with limited space so limited sets of clothing for six people so suffice it to say we have done A LOT of laundry in many different places.
This is one of the best! Clean, quiet and new and efficient machines are a must and The American delivers. The interior is nicely decorated. There is free WIFI and a lovely quaint shopping area. It’s also situated next to a coffee house which would boost it to 6 stars in my book!
Washing loads are $1.75 - $2.25 and each dryer load is $1.50. (You can borrow dryer balls for faster drying time.) I appreciated

This place was a bit of a mystery to me it appeared to be a laundromat but it wasn't open at the time and a woman who left the building wasn't able to answer clear questions about when exactly or how it would be open for public use I'm still uncertain to whether there is some agreement with people who are renting in a building close by or whether it's expected to be a public laundromat in the future I don't know but the sign on the door also mentioned that the owners did other kinds of work like real estate or property management or something along those lines
