Q: Why should I have a professionally conducted estate sale rather than a garage sale or family-run sale? A: First, it's an incredibly difficult task for non-professionals to get things together, let alone run a sale as it should be run. Not only is the work itself grueling, but you also have to factor in sentimentality, time, difficult family dynamics etc.
I want to thank Sterling Estate Sales for helping me close a chapter of my Life and start a new chapter. My Husband past away and left me with sooo many treasures I needed to sell. We have actually heard customers say "the price was to high" and "what a great price!" regarding the same exact item. Why is that? What could be the reason? Let me tell you a little about how we go about pricing.
Have High End Items to be sold at your Estate Sale? Let us have them Authenticated prior to the Sale. This gives our buyers Peace of Mind in knowing the items they are purchasing are Certified Authentic. Currently, we are able to provide authentication for the following designer brands. This includes handbags, wallets, small leather goods, footwear, jewelry, accessories and clothing unless otherwise indicated.

Dealing with an estate sale from afar (2500 miles) seemed daunting on every level. I interviewed several people via phone and Jim from Sterling Estates stood out........and when I kept having complications on my end, Jim remained as sincere, friendly and understanding as our first conversation. I`m relatively new to estate sale and collecting buttons, so the fault really is in my lack of knowledge, but my experience with this company was not positive. I went to a popular estate sale and everything was lovely and clean, laid out nicely, etc...but that is where it ends. I knew there was a jar of buttons I was eyeing from their photos on estatesales.net so I looked for those and upon picking the jar up, it had no price on it. The owner came around and stuck a price sticker of $65 on it. I nearly had an internal heart attack, but I thought a little negotiation could take place as I neared

We were so stressed about clearing a house full of art and furniture in a limited amount of time. Jim and Lidia came to our home and after meeting and talking with them, we were so relieved. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and very organized.

WOW just WOW! Jim, Lidia, and their team did an unbelievable job for us. Our estate sale included all of our belongings, large and small. They helped sell all our household goods as well as 3 vehicles. The wonderful team came in like honeybees and pulled everything out, organized, staged, and priced each item. Lidia researched the larger items and the art to get the best prices. They are well-connected to collectors, buyers, and many other folks in and out of town that can help to move merchandise quickly. The public sale was nicely organized as well as fun and festive with music and upbeat personalities
