We have partnered with the El Pomar Foundation to bring low or no cost mental health services to residents of Park County. Contact us for more information! We specialize in helping people become more effective within themselves, their families, and the community. We support individuals in their desire to heal and improve their quality of life.
We aim to help make healing as relatable and accessible as possible. We provide individual, group, parenting, couples and family counseling in the foothills of Colorado. Other effective services include EMDR, Brainspotting, Neurofeedback, Nutrition Coaching, and Auricular Acupuncture. We treat individuals and families from Conifer, Pine, Bailey, Evergreen, Morrison, Kittredge, Shawnee, Fairplay, Idaho Springs, Floyd Hill, and Golden.

Where you look affects how you feel. If something is bothering you, how you feel about it will literally change depending on whether you look off to your right or to your left. Our eyes and brains are intricately woven together, and vision is the primary way that we, as humans, orient ourselves to our environment.
Neurofeedback is an alternative treatment for individuals seeking to alleviate symptoms without having to say a single word. Through the use of a 19 lead QEEG (quantitative electroencephalography), a Brain Map is completed. The Brain Map provides detailed information about your specific brain waves to determine whether these waves are working together.
Since opening Conifer Counseling's doors in 2012, I have increased the number of clinicians providing mental health services to our mountain community. Currently, my practice focuses on mental health consultation and clinical supervision. Teaching, training, and spreading mental wellness is a significant passion of mine.
In an effort to reach more individuals and to play a role in creating a more trauma informed world, I offer mental health support in various forms. I am currently a mental health consultant for our Mountain Resource Center, a child welfare trainer for the Kempe Center, and a clinical supervisor to Masters level intern students as well as those obtaining licensure in the State of Colorado.
My experiences as a business owner as well as an advocate and program manager at a local non-profit agency have given me insight into the importance of having accessible mental health services in our community. I am pleased to assist the staff, as an administrator, in providing compassionate, quality care at Conifer Counseling and Therapy Services.
