I am a NJ Wedding Photographer specializing in documentary and fine art wedding and event photography. My approach to the day is very photo-journalistic with a touch of fine art imagery. I find by keeping a laid back attitude, my couples remain stress free and just enjoy the day. I feel that wedding photography should revolve around the wedding day and not the other way around.
As a wedding photographer in New Jersey, I thrive on creating epic photos out of ordinary scenes. Even more, I love the reactions I get out of my couples when they see the results. Joe is a super friendly guy! I was very comfortable working with him for our wedding! He knew all the best angles to capture of me and taught me how to pose. I was a little upset at first because there were no photos of my dad pushing back my blusher to give me away and when I told Joe this, he ended up finding those photos for me and giving them to me within that same day! Very professional and very talented, especially with lighting. All my guests love the photos! I would highly recommend him!

So I actually decided that Joe was going to be my wedding photographer before I was even engaged - LOL! He'd been the photographer for my best friend's wedding, back in 2015, so, when I got engaged in 2017, he was one of the first vendors I'd contacted. Choose Joe. You will not regret your decision. We just got back our photos and while looking through them, it was like falling in love all over again. You got to relive the day through the photos. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about working with Joe and how please I was with his services. I think his strongest quality is evident by simply looking at his beautiful images. His ability to use lighting to make his pictures stand out above the rest is undeniable. This factor alone is what attracted me to his work in the first place. We booked Joseph for our wedding & engagement shoot and have been incredibly happy with both! We've gotten SO many compliments for his work and he does an amazing job taking both documentary style and traditional photos. He's easy-going, responds to emails very quickly, happy to answer any questions you might have, and really just fun to work with. When we first found Joe's website, we were impressed. His ability to capture and document all those images that you'd want when getting married- from the bride putting on her dress to dancing at the reception with friends and family, his work was among the best we had seen. Joe is AMAZING! I honestly do not have enough great things to say about him. Joe was the photographer for my wedding on May 30. I get really uncomfortable taking pictures and Joe made the whole experience so much fun and relaxing. On a scorching hot day in the middle of July, I could not have expected the results that we have received from Joe! I had hated every moment of planning the wedding. Joe was one of the easiest people to work with through the planning process. Joe was absolutely patient with me when I took a bit longer then needed to organize the list of wedding photos that I wanted. Joseph is a great guy and a beyond amazing photographer! He is so easy to work with. Any time I would email him, I would hear back almost immediately, which was so nice! He made my husband and I both feel so comfortable and we had so much fun during our engagement photos. The day of he worked so hard to get all the shots we wanted and still managed to let us get to our cocktail hour for a bit like we asked. Writing a review for Joseph Delgado is almost impossible, as there aren't words to describe how talented this man is. Our first session with Joseph was for our engagement pictures which were taken on a rainy, windy, gloomy day. JD is a thoughtful, detailed and reasonable (for the great quality) photographer. He is a nice and humble guy. He also has an incredible work ethic and sent me the photos within a couple of days! He photographed my son's birthday and is amazing with kids. There is no way I would have been able to get the moments that he captured. We had our daughter's 100 day photo shooting done by Joseph. Before that, I did thorough research on photographers in NJ and NY and I feel luck to have made the right decision as Joseph is professional, creative and extremely patient. Our little princess was fussy almost from the start to end on the "big" day. Joe photographed everyone at the company I work at for business purposes. The photos were phenomenal. Every person looked their best. He used beautiful lighting, top notch equipment, but it was mostly his eye & the way he put people at ease that makes him a great photographer. Everyone wanted their photos sent to them for personal use. Joe works incredibly hard to make people happy and goes above and beyond the call of duty.
