At Brighter Living our leadership team provides quality care through our wide range of diverse skills. We are dedicated to provide compassionate care with dignity and respect for our residents. We offer several amenities from individual heating/cooling systems to the sunroom, multiple social rooms and much more.

We want to make you feel right at home and as comfortable as possible. We offer 4 different floor plans. Monthly Rates to include, private bathrooms, kitchenets, emergency call system, walk in shower and much more. You may also contact us directly at (804) 458-5830. Services
Brighter Living Assisted Living is locally owned and operated and has been serving older adults in the Tri-Cities and surrounding counties since 2000. Brighter Living is Hopewell's only assisted living facility. It is a two-story building with many amenities that is conveniently located near Interstates 295 and 95.
In addition to our Leadership Team, Brighter Living utilizes the talents of our volunteers to serve and care for our residents. Our volunteers include kids and young adults (middle/high school), retirees, church groups and community service organizations, health care organizations, and more.

Individual volunteers can help with activities such as crafts, bingo, games religious services or studies, social events and much more in a one-on -one setting.Groups volunteers can assist with our larger social events, to include Bingo and providing socialization for our residents. We love our volunteers that have a "green" thumb for assistance in our enclosed courtyard.
Individualized service plans are developed from an initial assessment of the individual's needs. From this initial assessment, a thorough package of services is developed. Periodic reviews of these plans are conducted to ensure their accuracy and thoroughness. The following services and amenities are included in the monthly rent:.

Brighter living is very understaffed. I always come to visit a family friend and it’s never enough staff! Someone is always working by their selves from one shift to another with multiple residents wandering around in and out other residents rooms. You can never find the CNA and sometimes when you do find them they are on their phones. It’s very unacceptable and sad that they never have a full staff and I have to worry if my family member and/or other residents are being fully taken care of!!. I think the state should surprise them with a little visit. I know this is against the rules in a

When you have brought hospice in to care for a patient, is it mandatory to keep their loved ones from seeing them completely? Just curious if the goal is to keep the dying patient from possibly catching covid or to keep the family from catching covid? From my understanding, the family is allowed to see their loved one when it's right at the end and the patient has lost almost all function. So it seems that the goal is to continue isolating the patient/loved one so that they dont catch covid in their final days. It just seems really sadistic and I would love for someone to clear this issue up for

Throughout my healthcare career I have always wanted to work at Brighter Living and now I do. All healthcare facilities have their ups and downs but Brighter Living is on its way up and we are going to continue to strive for the best for our residents, families as well as our staff. I have visited the facility and found the staff to be very nice and the residents well looked after. I feel good enough to suggest Brighter Living to a close friend as he is making decisions for his mother, who need 24 hour care. They will work with your income level and do the best they can to make what is one of most difficult decisions of your life a bit easier.
