We had a really bad mold problem, made one phone call they came out to give us an estimate the very next day.

We had a flood in our house a year ago from a washing machine hose that burst when we weren't home. Golden State Environmental came out right away with all their equipment and dried everything up and handle it professionally. I would definitely recommend them again helped prevent us from getting mold everywhere.

My boyfriend and I have been living in our condo together for less than a year, but about a month ago our place flooded due to a pipe breaking upstairs. After realizing that my exterior sprinklers where hitting the front of my house, i called golden state and they discovered that it was leaking in through the ledger stone. The water traveled into my front 2 bedrooms and i was told they would have to remove 4’ of the wall. They said they would build barricades in each bedroom so the contaminated air wouldn’t flow throughout the house. This is my first time writing a review. I'm doing so because Golden State Environmental offered such great service and performance. Allow me to explain. We had a copper pipe break in the ceiling. The water damage was relatively bad - for sure inconvenient. I reported this to my insurance - State Farm. Because the house was built before 1979, it needed to be tested for asbestos. The report came back positive with asbestos in the damaged drywall and the glue used years ago on the carpet padding. Our problem grew exponentially.

I recently had the unfortunate need for a restoration company. A water leak in our 2nd floor bathroom made its way to the first floor entry and garage. I contacted Golden State Envirnmental. They were excellent, from start to finish. Jeff came out and assessed the damage, explained how they would proceed, gave me a timeline and kept in touch for the next 5 days until the house was demo'd and dry. Very unprofessional! I called to set up services and was told that I would receive a call back. Two days later I call to follow up and was told I would receive a call back. I call back later that day to follow up again and am told I will receive a call back. Well, I finally receive a call back and am told "you guys keep calling us we don't pick up hazardous waste." The gentleman on the phone was very rude, no one at the receptionist office ever told me that this company couldn't assist me. When I tried to explain the miscommunication the gentleman HUNG UP ON ME in the middle of me speaking! Horrible

I had a supply line breaks in my kids' upstairs bathroom, subsequently my entire formal living room and kitchen were flooded with water, I called Golden State and spoke with Richard, he assured me everything will be ok and he sent a crew out to my house right away, they started the clean up and dryout process right away, the crew was very friendly and professional and accommodating to my situation, I would highly recommend using this company as they were extremely punctual and very clean and tidy with the entire process
