Wildside Winery just won a double gold medal for our Cabernet Franc and the Commissioners Cup award for 2018 best red wine in Kentucky ( for the second time)! Wildside also won a gold medal for our dry red "Quartet" blend, plus Silver medals for: BBR (our bourbon barrel aged Cab., Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and our semi-sweet Traminette white wine).
We have a huge selection of wines, mainly because we love making it! But also because everyone is different. You may love dry red wines while your friend may love semi-sweet white wines and your spouse may like sweet fruit wines. Or you may like to explore the world of strange and unusual wines; we always have some wild creations!.

After visiting a different winery earlier in the day and feeling like we were inconveniencing the place by being there, our travels took us to Wildside.
Wow, what a different feeling. From the moment we walked in, being greeted by Curtis with a welcome smile. I am very happy we did stop.
He took plenty of time to ask questions about our likes/dislikes before making suggestions. Even after the tasting was done, he asked questions and made some suggestions and made a few "mixes" to try.
The 4 of us were very happy when we were done. Happy enough that we purchased a full case of wine

This place is adorable and has delicious wines! The pictures online don’t do it justice. My husband and I went there for his birthday trip and it was well worth the stop. The couple running the shop (we assumed they were the owners) were so kind and welcoming. And they make delicious wines. Their Chardonel is one of our personal favorites because it’s light and fruity. Their Cabernets (all of them) are also top notch.
We strongly recommend a stop at this gorgeous winery!

This place was a very cool experience. We ordered two flights of 8 wines each 1oz ($8 each or 4 wines for $5) so we got to try a good majority of their wines. We weren't big fans of the "traditional" wines per say like Chardonnay or Cabernet BUT we LOVED the fruity wines (which is not our usual stride so very much worth the try). I've attached a photo of our favorites we tried. Also it's pet friendly here and we loved resident animals Frankie the cat and the doggie (can't remember the name). They also have a cheese platter if you want something to snack on.

Beautiful grounds, dog friendly, okay wine and terrific people.
I was a bit leary in that they weren't very strict with cleanliness with these crazy times and Covid. I admit I am very paranoid. Other people there were just fine with the way things were. Menu was laminated and obviously not clean. Pens for marking said menus were also not clean. Social distancing was not enforced.
If that doesn't bother you then give it a try if you happen to be in the neighborhood and be sure and give Frank the cat a pet or two!

The winery is beautiful and the tasting room inviting and comfortable. Staff is amazing at pairing you with wines you will love. Try their tasting flights of 4 or 8 and ask about combinations. They hit the nail on the head when recommending wines for my palate and I ended up taking several bottles home and am already planning a return trip. Sangria Sundays are fun and they invite an amazing food truck, Go Go Burger. You cannot go wrong in attending any event here as they are well run, well staffed and super fun! Top quality establishment and service. By far my favorite winery in the area.

Came here to hang out with one of my pals! The wines were tasty and they even let us use a group-on that allowed us to get a free wine glass. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we were able to sit and chat for a few hours.
We were able to do an 8 glass flight for $9 and the fruit wines were incredibly tasty! They also advertised the location as a wedding venue! Could be a hidden gem!

Wildside Winery, located somewhat off the grid in Woodford County, is a small, friendly winery. After a mere ten years in the business, they've received numerous awards, one of which was for their Bourbon Barrel Cab. I enjoyed this one. They have a relatively large selection of wines considering the size of the winery. Take a ride out to Wildside and enjoy a glass.

We were visiting from Dallas and stopped by on a Sunday. They have so many wine choices that we really enjoyed. I love the presentation of the flights! Go for the 8 samples because you will want to taste as many as you can. They have a good variety. Our favorite was the Bourbon Barrel Reserve. Service is very friendly and they really want to help you find wines you like.

Joined the wine club last year so I pick up 3 bottles every quarter. This month the selection included the Chardonnay, Dry Traminette and the Strawberry-Rhubarb. While there we each had a full flight tasting out on the deck. I like the personal touch of the smaller local winery as well as supporting the local community!

100% in love! The atmosphere is amazing and and the staff is wonderful!! Rachel and Alex were both super friendly and knowledgeable about all the wines and the vineyard. I felt as if I were sitting and chatting with friends.
I like just about everything I tried. The Riesling was a little too sweet for my taste so I passed it on to a friend. The Norton and their Norton Port were amazing! If you have not had a Norton or Cynthiana wine you are really missing out!
I will be back to Wildside and I hope you give it a chance too!!

Wildside is a cute winery on a farm near rolling hills and horse fences in the heart of Kentucky. The tasting room building is small, with a little bar area, some barrels on display, a table of wine-related trinkets for purchase, and a few decorated tables with seating. Lights on strings and chandeliers made from recycled wine bottles adorn the ceiling. Outside is a beautiful patio area covered in vines where you can soak up the sun and wine.
It's $6 a flight of wine off the tasting menu - great deal! I like the way the tasting menu is set-up: you can choose from five different flights (of

We stopped in here while we were in Kentucky visiting family. We needed cranberry wine for our cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. This was the only winery in the area that had cranberry wine listed on their website.
The wine list had many dry and sweet selections. It took us a few minutes to decide what to taste. You can taste 8 wines for a small tasting fee. We picked 7 of the dry wines and the cranberry wine. I can find one or two wines at most wineries that I like. I liked all of the wines I tried here. My favorite was BBR which
