Novel Iron Works, Inc. is a progressive, state of the art, structural steel fabricator whose presence in the New England Market has been growing steadily for the past 60 years. From its inception in 1956 by Ralph Noveletsky, Novel Iron Works has been owned and operated by the Noveletsky family.

Stock Yard - Novel Iron Works, Inc. has over 3500 tons of inventory in stock with the use of a 20 ton overhead crane and 15 ton forklift we can easily take material from the stock yard to the beginning of the fabrication process. Property - Our property consists of 26 acres centrally located an hour south of Portland, Maine and an hour north of Boston, Massachusetts right off of I-95.

Novel Iron Works is proud to offer our clients more than just simple fabrication. We specialize and are certified by the AISC for structural steel, simple bridge and bridge components. Our project managers are dedicated to getting you what you want, where you want and when you want it.

Having a strong team of in-house detailers allows us to keep the price down and increase accuracy for projects ranging from simple house beams to road signs to complex structures up to 5,500 tons.We do this through our own connection design and constant communication throughout the project process.

Novel's 2 CNC Structural Steel Burning Systems, with multi-axis, multi-torch, and integrated measuring system, offers combined speed and accuracy to complete specialized coping requirements. A pair of CNC controlled Anglemasters efficiently address all production requirements for angle and flat bar.
