At the Rangeley Saddleback Inn, we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of hospitality Maine has to offer. Conveniently located just outside of Rangeley Village, our inn is the closest off-mountain lodging available, and located right on the Interconnected Trail System. A four-season resort, the friendly Rangeley Saddleback Inn staff is equipped to handle all that nature deals.

Whether you're dropping in from a long day at Lakeside Park, or arriving late from a hike, our staff is ready and available to provide assistance -- even on the rare occasion that you find yourself stranded.
Services
Newly-renovated, our cozy rooms offer accommodations at reasonable rates. All rooms offer queen size pillow top beds, mini refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, flat-screen TVs, and Wi-Fi. Our individual heat and A/C units allow you to customize your room's climate to suit you and your traveling companion.
And don't forget to buy your Rangeley Saddleback Inn Hats, Shirts and Sweatshirts at the Front Desk. First off, when I pulled in the sun was just setting and the view was absolutely breathtaking! The manager, Paula, was having a little fire out front, she was very friendly and immediately got up to go into the office and check me in while also inviting us to join the fire or use the pit if we would like to later on.
The Rangeley Lakes Area offers a wide variety of activities that are exploratory and "outdoorsy" while remaining family friendly. History buffs will revel in Rangeley's rich fly-fishing history. Enjoy the area's rustic charm, scenic views, renowned Rangeley history and outdoor sporting heritage museums, parks, or visit our quaint Rangeley Village featuring unique local vendors, located minutes from our Inn; no big box or chain store here!

Our reason for our visit was to eat at The Hungry Trout restaurant . The food is excellent and plenty of it! As you might expect, it's busy any time it's open. Even so, the wait is not long. The staff extremely friendly and thoughtful. Can't wait to go back.
Update Jan 2022 - The Hungry Trout is closed. The good news is that the chef has moved to Loon Lodge. Great location and even better food.

Neat spot right outside of Rangeley village, Near Saddleback.
Fun indoor pool and hot tub, I had it all to myself, but it looked like a pool party spot.
Snowmobile trail right out the door.
Friendly customer service.
Only downside was the tv was not formatted to the correction resolution, and the room could use a touch of updating.
Overall a good experience, would stay again.
Also has pet friendly rooms.

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed with the place.. I traveled from Massachusetts to here with my girlfriend.. I made the reservation because of the attractions of the place, but arriving here, we had a terrible surprise, the pool doesn't work, the jacuzzi doesn't work, and there is no breakfast, the place is different from the photos on the site too.

Great place to visit even for a day trip. Nicest people you ever met, beautiful scenery near the lake and historical train station, and cutest hotels with the most hospitable staff who really go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. I'll be back next summer!

CONS: Heat was broken, TV wouldn’t work, toilet wouldn’t stop running...
Staff were nice but lots of excuses as to why things weren’t working... “not sure...sometimes the TV doesn’t work. Try unplugging it?” “There should be a heater in there, not sure why it’s not working?” “Sorry, we can’t enter the room to fix the toilet”
PROS: super nice staff. The hot water and water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Comfy beds. Room was very clean. Location is amazing and the VIEW can not be beat. The restaurant has really good food and the bartenders were the BEST. All in all

$139 for two beds. Microwave & fridge in room. Cable TV. Comfortable beds and clean room. Only soap bar so bring your own shampoo/conditioner. Incredible view from your room!!! Nice staff. Indoor poor and family area not open during covid. Unsure about breakfast?
