In 1920 Clement Aloysius O'Donnell started doing small repairs and installing roofing with a company located in West Philadelphia. He worked on homes primarily in the city, but also worked on the construction of some of the main line homes which are still around today. He quickly caught on to how to do the job right and keep clients satisfied.
In 1924, he took all of his knowledge and skills, and started C.A O'Donnell Roofing. His entrepreneurial spirit served him well as jobs started piling up immediately. Back then, the technology in roofing was nil, and all metalwork had to be done in house. Clement had his own state of the art metal fabrication shop at 56th and Lansdowne Ave. in the West Phila.

Kevin and the team at O’Donnell roofing did a great job on our window replacement job! I went through all of the advertised deals that you hear on the radio from the name brands. On a whim I reached out to O’Donnell after looking at their website and their total list of services offered.
Kevin came out to look at the second floor windows that needed to be replaced. He turned around a quote in a reasonable time. Once I compared all four quotes I received, it was clear that O’Donnell was the best choice. Even better that they are a locally owned and operated business.

We moved into our house 4 years ago. There was a 15 year old cedar roof that had missing shingles. Knowing a cedar roof should last 40 years, I called O’Donnell Roofing to have it repaired. Kevin O’Donnell came out in less than 24 hours, climbed up to my roof and took video of how bad my roof really was. The nails used to put on my roof were not the prescribed stainless steel, and had completely rotted out and the shingles were all loose and ready to blow off.
Kevin had his installation crew on site within a few days. They did a perfect job, and since there was no plywood under a cedar roof

In addition to a replacement roof, Kevin and his team replaced our first generation vinyl windows with beautiful Anderson E Series aluminum clad replacement windows, added 3 window dormers to our roof line and replaced all the gutters and downspouts. We could not be more pleased with the work. I would highly recommend O’Donnell Roofing within the Delaware Valley.

Just worked with Kevin and Mike on a whole house roof, windows, and siding project. I highly recommend working with them. There attention to detail was great. Mike was very knowledgeable in our multiple meetings prior to project and presented a very clear proposal with options for upgrades and warranty. I appreciated that they made me fully aware of the potential for extra costs before start of project, so i was ready when we had to replace $2400 worth of plywood on roof and fascia boards. I am very impressed with how fast and efficient O'Donnell Roofing is. They had to totally gut out our old multi-layer flat roof before they could replace it with a new one. Then they replaced our sky roofs and gutters. All of this was done at a reasonable cost and in a timely manner. We were really pleased with their services and will recommend them to others!
