I’ve gone to JMC physical therapy for two separate issues, one involving my back and another my neck/TMJ. I cannot give them enough praise for such a high quality of care that’s more patient-oriented than any other medical office I’ve been to.
What sets Dr. Leighton apart from others is that he only sees one patient at a time and his top priority is helping you reach your physical therapy goals. Most places have an open area and multiple people in at once, but you get a higher quality of care at JMC with more privacy and one-on-one attention. Dr. Leighton has a true emphasis on quality over

JMC Physical Therapy was the right choice to fix my back pain. Dr. Leighton is a kind, professional, and caring person who made me feel heard and taken care of. It was easy to schedule appointments and there was plenty availability for any day/time during the week. The at home exercises I was given were easy, quick and truly helped get rid of my pain. JMC is an amazing PT place that truly knows how to provide personalized care that got me recovered quickly. 10/10 would recommend.

I've been a patient of Dr. Leighton's at JMC Therapy for 6 months. He is One of a Kind. I'm retired, am 76 years old, and I'm rehabbing inflamed nerves. Dr. Leighton frequently works with me for 1 1/2 hours & I know he only gets paid for an hour (other places may give you 30-40 minutes). In addition, what I have received from Dr. Leighton and his secretary, receptionist Isabel, his wife, is kindness, patience and respect.
Normally, I don't comment on other reviews, but I will make an exception in Drew Fox's comment. His 1 star review is riddled with deceptive fabrication. Isabel would NEVER do

This will be our 2nd time with Dr. Leighton. My 19-year-old son saw him back in 2014 and my 17-year-old son just finished up his services in May (2019). We cannot say enough about Dr. Leighton and his wife (who helps run the practice). The professionalism and the one-on-one attention my sons received is incomparable to what you would encounter at other practices. Most importantly, Dr. Leighton has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in his field. Both my boys suffered different back issues and both were treated successfully and continue to do well.
I would highly recommend JMC Physical Therapy

During a business trip to Bloomington, Indiana, I suddenly suffered a recurrence of vertigo. I had this occurring to me before along with Nystagmus. I looked into Internet and I found JMC Physical Therapy, a place close to where I was, and the website noted that they treat TMJ dysfunction, so I called and make an appointment.
As soon as I arrived, I was attended promptly and courteously. After a brief consult with Dr. Leighton, he treated me personally and a few minutes later I was on my way and walking straight. He prescribed me an exercise treatment which I performed exactly the way it was prescribed
