Whenever I arrived, a member of the staff was very rude. She stated that I had to wait outside, but let others in. ( It seemed very malicious)Also the price of the turkey did not match the quality. I will not be returning there.

Everything I've ever ordered from Shaver's has been great! Jambalaya, gumbo, broccoli rice casserole, potato casserole. Yum!

Got the fried shrimp and fries. It was . My wife tried the gumbo and it was so delicious. Most definitely will be back when I visit my son. They don't have nothin like this in Sacramento

Whoever took my phone order, let order food they did not have and neglected to explain that cold means frozen. I arrived expecting refrigerated, which would have been no problem to warm up quickly. This was on top of having to make a last minute substitution.

Just had a wonderful fresh fried shrimp po'boy; best yet in Louisiana.

The boiled crawfish were good. They were clean and seasoned pretty good. The ones at the top of the bag were bland but the ones at the bottom were seasoned well.

Loved the spicy, mini, meat pies but wasn't a fan of the fries, they were too soft and seemed undercooked, I preferred them crispy.

Very good turkey for thanksgiving but at about double the costs of other places. I would go back for sure, but going to try a cheaper option for Christmas.

Tasted good food at an event that they catered. everything was good. i really would use them and recommend them by the way our food tasted. the green beans were good, the salad still crisp, the chicken tetrazzini was good, the peach cobbler was excellent, the roll was good, excellent catering food.

Got Shaver's to go this evening. Super upbeat and nice workers. We got a dozen fried fish with fries and hush puppies (#friedfood). The remoulade sauce was the best part! So so good. The fish was perfectly fried. Fries and hush puppies were just your basic sides...nothing special.

In the end, I would choose Shaver's over its competitor (Shane's) any day if not only for the fact that the people who work there are the nicest bunch!

What a disappointment! My son and I got 12 pounds of crawfish earlier today and brought them home to eat, only 5 minutes away. I can almost understand the small size but for a restaurant that is suppose to specialize in crawfish these were terrible. The tails were sticking the the shell in 95% of the crawfish. You had to fight to get them out of the shell. I can assure you and I would advise anyone wanting good crawfish to find another location that cooks them. I did have some amazing crawfish last night but that is another review. I'm not trying to promote someone else but state the facts

This little place was recommended to me by a native for a quick and delicious bite to eat as I was passing through town. It doesn't look like much, but the food and the service were excellent! I ordered the shrimp basket. The. Shrimp. Were. HUGE. They were battered and fried to perfection. The basket was complimented with three hush puppies, more fries than I could eat, and enough coleslaw to say that I had a vegetable with my meal. They were a little shy on beverages on this particular evening, but there was a cold can of Dr Pepper located for me.

Went to mudbug madness and had some of their crawfish, was a huge disappointment they were super tiny and rubbery. It was way to over cooked and most of them you couldn't eat. I advise to stay away from that place they are not good.

Ordered 60 pounds of crawfish with potatoes, corn and sausage. 3.46 pound for cooked. Crawfish were seasoned perfect but the majority were small. Potatoes were cooked separately and had no seasoning. People there are awesome and very good to deal with. Size could be a little due to late in the season.

Just had 4 pounds. They were on the small side but I like them like this. $6.49 per pound, perfect amount of spice, not salty, very juicy. Best I've had in a while.

Stopped here on our long drive from Florida back to Texas. This place is definitely worth the short detour. We had the brisket po'boy, fish po'boy and blackened shrimp wrap, all worth 5 stars! I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through the Shreveport/Bossier area.

Drive up, get your crawdads and sit down at the picnic tables out front.... the Crawfish were best I've ever had.... I like them so much that I had to buy two big bags of the seasoning so I can make them myself... Or at least attempted to make them myself.... if you like the Mudbugs and you're in Shreveport Louisiana you have got to go to Shaver's! They cater too!

This place is amazing my favorite place in bossier city. I come every year for my birthday since it falls in crawfish season. This place started small and grew and still kept the charm I loved so much. The only change they made that I didn't like is the mandatory minimum on crawfish. I'm one person and I don't need 3 lbs. That is the reason I started going to this restaurant and the taste and quality kept me coming back. This year I didn't get any crawfish. Other than that it's a 5 star experience but I need a place with no minimum so I'm not sure if I'll be back

Shaver's crawfish catered the Chimp Haven "Spring Fling" event today, and made a believer out of me. Great QUALITY crawfish, cooked fresh, by VERY friendly and helpful staff. Their flavor is great, and the product they turned out was top notch. A real crowd pleaser. Well done Shaver's crew, great food. I'll be coming to see you again soon!

They catered our wedding and did a fantastic job. We had a brunch and they delivered as requested! A crawfish benedict, fruit selections, mimosas, staff rocked! I would recommend them for any occasion!
