This place was great for our family of 6 after boondocking down the Highway 1 for a week. At first the price seemed way to high with them charging $7 extra a night for each of my 4 kids. It definitely was above our budget for RV camping with our little popup. But then we found out we could use the pool at the hotel next door. That took some of the sting out of the cost and it was worth the money for sure. Along with the hot showers. Our crew loved this place and realized really fast that it was exactly what we needed after being on the road dry camping.

Great location with stunning views, and decent facilities as well.
Keep in mind that there is no 4G reception in the campground, however you can purchase Wifi for 2 devices for $10/day. There is a grocery store at the hotel next door if you need basics/essentials, and if you want a sitdown meal then head towards Yosemite View Lodge for
We had a campervan and the spot we got was spacious and no issues with water & electricity. It was fairly quiet in November which made the park feel so peaceful and relaxing.
The shared toilets/showers are pretty good and didn't feel gross or anything.

Fairly basic as far as campgrounds go, but what stood out to us was the service. We were accidentally double booked in a tent site, and they upgraded us to a tent cabin. We sleep self-contained in a vehicle, so we would have been happy with a parking spot and use of the facilities, but they went out of their way to correct the issue.

This place was so neat! It was exactly what we needed on our visit to Yosemite. We didn’t want to pitch a tent every night but we still wanted the outdoor camping experience. There was no availability in Yosemite park so this was the perfect option for us. The Indian Flat RV park has cabins, permanent/ oversized tents with a bed, ceiling fan and refrigerator (which we stayed in), hook ups for RVs and camper vans, as well as places to pitch your own tent. There were plenty of community showers with wonderfully hot water and a restroom that was always kept very clean. It was only a 25 minute drive

No hot water in the cabins, $200+ per night.
We stayed here because we were hiking Half Dome in Yosemite and wanted to have the extra comfort of a cabin instead of camping after the massive 10-hour hike.
Turns out, we would have been much more comfortable if we'd just camped, and we would have had access to a hot shower, at a much lower price.
Also, we would have had cell phone service (which isn't available at Indian Flat, unless you pay them the extra $10 a day).
I tried contacting them twice about these issues, but received no reply.
NOT WORTH STAYING HERE.

Terrible campground for tents. Sites are practically on top of each other. Doesn't offer much privacy. Most of them are situated within 10-12 of the road as well (which is quite loud at all hours).
Facilities weren't great either. No soap in any of the bathrooms, but plenty of signs warning of COVID and such..
They have bear boxes all around the campground, except the trash near the bathrooms wasn't protected(?)so something got in it the night we were there and made a mess. On the topic of trash there were still pieces of stuff around our campsite when we arrived and the following morning the

The sites were very tight together. A tent site might be 20 ft wide maybe less? Also, the text sites and dish washing station and bathrooms and showers are all at the opposite ends of the camp from the tent sites. The closer proximity to the road (about 10 ft from the tent sites) made for a lot of noise in the morning. We didn't hate it... It just wasn't our favorite.

Stayed here 7 days straight….Great proximity to Yosemite, Pool and Bar next door, fastest WiFi in the Universe (seriously! Except it costs $10…guess they have to keep the “digital nomads” away somehow.). Very quiet at night. There’s a fuel station and grocery mart nearby. Honestly, like the place and encountered some great folks. If you are trying to book, just call them and if they don’t answer, leave a message. They will call you back.

We stayed in our RV here for 4 nights. The location is close to the park. Access to the pool next door is nice and the host is very friendly. One minor inconvenience is that there is no phone service and the internet cost $10 a day. No biggie. But the biggest problem I had was with the groundskeeping. First issue, our site had a very bad issue with goatheads. My family and I had them in our flip-flops, shoes and tires and eventually in our camper. They were fully grown and hardened. Where I'm from, we also have issues with them but we spray the plants, pull them up, and weedwack which keeps them

Great place to make your base just outside of Yosemite. We were too late to book somewhere inside the Yosemite National Park, but this was the next best thing. The owners were welcoming, the facilities were quite adequate and the lodge is great for a beer at the end of the day! Loved our time here in our small camper van. Pretty good value also. There's no cell phone coverage for miles around, so the WiFi was welcome, worked well and at $10/day was reasonably priced, I thought. Thank you for a great stay!
