SkinSafe Dermatology and Skin Care is currently in-network with Blue Shield PPO, Anthem Blue Cross PPO, SAG-AFTRA, Aetna PPO and United HealthCare PPO plans. The office does not currently accept Medicare or Medi-Cal insurance, and is considered an out-of-network provider for HMO insurance plans. Dr. Tsippora is absolutely amazing. Her bedside manner is so comforting. Her knowledge on every concern I had put my anxiety to ease. I left a voice mail for an appointment during a holiday weekend and she called me the very next business day and gave me the next available appointment. I am so glad to have found her as my Dermatologist.

Dr. Shainhouse is everything you would expect in a Physician but rarely ever get these days. She has a great bed-side manner, she is personable, down-to-earth and patient. She explains everything, in detail, without making you feel rushed. Additionally, Dr. Shainhouse is bright, experienced, competent and well-trained. I highly recommend her, should you need a Pediatric or General/Adult Dermatologist.

I had such a great experience with Dr Shainhouse. She took care of my 5 year old daughter’s warts effectively and pain free. We had seen 3 other doctors for this issue and none were successful in actually getting rid of them. She knows how to work with children, making the experience pleasant. She gave my daughter an iPad to distract her and at the end lolly pop and stickers. My daughter is asking when she can go back! I highly recommend Dr. Shainhouse!

We have had such an incredible experience using Dr. Shainhouse-- it's wonderful (and extremely lucky) to find a doctor that can work so seamlessly with both adults and children. She was so patient, attentive and extremely spot on with our children. She made them feel extremely comfortable and immediately knew how to treat the issues. The same goes for my own appointments-- it's refreshing to meet with a doctor that can work so efficiently and also provide such individualized attention. We are so grateful to have her in our medical network!

Dr. Shainhouse is INCREDIBLE!!! I literally cannot say enough. She has helped me on so many occasions as questions have come up for myself, my husband and my children. She puts you at such ease with her kindness and compassion and truly makes you feel so taken care of. She has incredible medical expertise and you feel this when you are in her care. She does her utmost to take care of you. No matter where I am I know I can call Dr. Shainhouse and she will give fantastic advice and guidance for our whole family. Dr. Shainhouse is wonderful. She takes her time to understand her patient as a whole person and treat the entire person, not just the individual symptoms. She understands that healthy skin is not just topical, it is a product of healthy eating, good sleep, stress management and lifestyle. And when creams and meds are required, she finds the simplest, (least expensive), and healthiest options. I literally trust this woman with my life (and skin!)
