Services
Physical therapy at Total Rehab is designed to help you reach your functional and performance goals. We offer a non-surgical treatment to pain and dysfunction that encompasses treatment of the body as a whole. We emphasize patient education and will help you understand your diagnosis, treatment, and expected outcome.
In order to get started, you need to set up an initial evaluation time with one of our therapists. Either stop by or call or office at 641-236-4506 to set up an appointment. Iowa recognizes direct access for therapy treatments. Most patients with Blue Cross Blue Shield and certain other insurance do not require a physician referral prior to being seen for therapy.

Jordan Finch-Smith and Total Rehab Crew greeted me with little or no waiting time. All were pleasant and professional. Jordan helped me with my knee issue like a seasoned professional, proficiently. No doubt I’ll improve and feel much better under her guidance. I may be related and somewhat prejudice but I can’t emphasize how many of Jordan’s clients have gone out of their way to tell me how impressed and comfortable they were working with Jordan Finch-Smith. She comes highly recommended by all I’ve talked to and well as myself.

I would recommend Total Rehab to anyone needing physical therapy. J.D. Pumphrey was my therapist who listened to me and worked with me to accomplish my goals. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. The facility's secretary, Julie, was efficient and understanding of her tasks at hand. My PT specializes in lymphedemia therapy and I see her for my legs. I fell and I could hardly walk or stand up. She needed to rectify this situation before moving forward with my other therapy. She provided a massage and exercises. Knowledge of what to do had me back on my feet in a matter of days. Thanks Laurie!

Sam Kotz did an excellent job of helping my son recover from an ankle sprain. She took the time to make sure he understood the stretches and her expectations while also keeping the visit friendly and light hearted. The super nice lady at the front desk made scheduling appts quick and easy. We would absolutely recommend Total Rehab and Sam!

Julie (at the front desk) and Brittany (my physical therapist) are both lovely people to work with. They are both so pleasant and very professional. I feel like Brittany is very knowledgeable and truly cares about helping me get back to full health. The facility is fresh and modern. I especially like being able to go to a room for privacy during my sessions. My experience at Total Rehab has been very positive so far.

For 12 years now, I've been repeatedly returning to Total Rehab to get help for problems--two knee replacements, hand surgery, dislocated shoulder, bursitis, pulled muscles, etc.. All the therapists have been excellent: well-trained, great communicators, and very encouraging. I recommend them highly!

Physical Therapist, Jordan Smith is exceptional, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned about my well-being and recovery of my injury.
