My husband Zac and I just had our wedding here (6/19/21) and it was the greatest experience! Tracy was an absolute joy to be around and was very understanding and flexible with planning when i fell ill shortly before the event. Many of our guests (both those who had never been before, and those who have been to Pickett in the past) could not stop talking about how beautiful it is here and I 100% agree.
This place is PERFECT for weddings and is very reasonably priced as well! Tracy was incredible to work with not only for us, but for our other vendors as well. The location was perfect for our out of town guests, being that there are so many places to stay and things to do within walking distance. Literally 10/10 recommend for a wedding or wedding reception!

I can't say enough about Tracy and Pickett Place! First, this place is absolutely GORGEOUS! Perfect for ANY EVENT! And Tracy is the sweetest, most professional woman I've worked with in a long time! We had my grandson's first birthday party at Pickett Place and it was perfect! So much space and she had it set up beautifully! I literally just had to show up and have a good time. 5 stars!!!

I couldn’t have imagined our special day any better. Pickett Place was the perfect venue for our intimate ceremony with family and the reception that followed. A big thank you to Tracy, Chad and Jamie for making everything come together and flow smoothly. Even though Tracy had a lot going on in her own life, she was always eager to offer help and guidance.

Pickett Place has everything that is needed for a perfect small wedding venue. The owners, Tracy and Chad, were so easy to work with and helped our day move smoothly. I don't know what we would have done without them. The house and venue is so beautiful, minimal decor is needed. 10/10 recommend this wedding venue and owners for a small and memorable wedding day. We love Pickett Place <3

If you are looking for a wedding venue, please do not hesitate to book this beautiful place! Tracy and Chad were amazing to work with throughout the whole process. Our wedding didn’t exactly go as planned, but they adapted so quickly to help make our day still so special. The venue is so much larger than the pictures make it look, and is mostly decorated already. The two kitchens were a game changer for catering. The venue comes with tables and chairs which helps a lot when it comes to budgeting. Tracy was so quick to respond to all of my questions. She catered to me so much on the day of the

Loved the venue and Tracy was a joy to work with! I loved the space and uniqueness of the house. Unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with the DJ, Chad. He was not easy to get in touch with, and never met with me beforehand. Then, during the first dance AND father daughter dance AND mother son dances, the system stopped working. He had no backup and just said he didn't have the right cord. Also, he did not play any of the music genres I asked to be played. And the reception just dwindled. The venue is beautiful, but I cannot recommend the DJ.

I just hosted a baby shower at Pickett Place and it was a fabulous experience. Tracy Burdine (owner) is incredible to work with. She was very responsive and accommodating through the entire process. The venue is STUNNING. Hands down the best event space in Shoals. Cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10 would recommend. Book ! You will not regret it.

Our wedding could not have been more perfect! The venue alone, before any decor is added, is absolutely gorgeous, charming, & historic! The terrace was the perfect spot for our ceremony, and the perfect flip for dancing under the stars! The separate bridal quarters made getting ready so easy and special, and perfect for the photographer and videographer to capture every moment with ease! The owners are incredible people, and made sure every detail was covered! Cannot recommend this venue enough for your special day!

HIGHLY recommend Pickett Place!! We had an intimate family-only ceremony in the cozy living room with a big reception to follow. Tracy was super helpful and responsive through all of the days leading up to the wedding, as well as the day of! We were also the first to stay the night as a couple and she had mimosas and rivertown muffins for us :)

I had my wedding here on July 31, 2020. It was PERFECT, obviously anyone could say that about their own wedding day, but mine wasn’t just because of the marriage. This venue was a DREAM. Pictures do not do this place justice, if you’re considering this place, just book a tour, you will love it. It is perfect for a wedding anytime of the year. Tracy (the owner) went above and beyond to make my day everything I wanted it to be. Not to mention, it is a GREAT price. It is not like most other places in the area, and we were able to have our own vendors, which saved us a ton of money. Thank you for
