We stayed here three days in October. The people are nice and friendly, but not great at solving problems or apologizing for issues. The park and facilities are nice and clean. The promised internet was terrible fading in and mostly out. The water was shut off because of weather (understandable), but no apology or offer to reduce the rate. Yes, this is cash or check only.

Highly disappointed! Camp ground was recommended, so I call ahead, visited with a gentleman who was very nice, had an agreement over the phone with him. When we pulled in later that day, I was met by 2 old women, one wearing a see through shirt with no bra, and they were not about to honor my phone agreement of the morning. Said he had no right to make an agreement with me over the phone like he did. And they were certainly not honoring his agreement.

Ponderosa Campground located in Cody Wyoming is absolutely wonderful! Owned and operated by Skip and assisted by her many fabulous family assistants her daughters (Robin and Linda), her son-in-law Greg and her Jack of all trades assistant (Greg) are so accommodating and helpful! The campground is so convenient because it’s in the center if Cody and in walking distance to downtown Cody! They keep extremely clean bathrooms and laundry room! The staff is constantly cleaning and maintaining the premises in the day and by night it is very quite…top notch camping at the Ponderosa! My husband and

The campground was very convenient, and seemed clean. They only accept cash or check and no credit or debit cards, which is tough when you are travelling. The spaces were close together, but they offer the range of campsites that should cover everyone's needs. When we called, we were told we did not need a reservation, just come. We did and found out that we could only stay 4 nights and not 5 as we wished and that we needed a reservation. So, the cash or check only and the reservation/no reservation issue we found irritating. The ladies in the office were kind, but unable to fully accommodate our

Very convenient, quite clean, well-appointed, full-hookup RV and tent campground, right in the city of Cody. Walk to most attractions. Reasonably priced, though not cheap. RV lots a little tight. But the friendly (mostly) staff does very well. Barb is a doll. They got us accommodated on short notice for a week at their busiest time. Thank you, Ponderosa!

You don't come here for amenities you come here for service and hospitality! Tent sites are well... Blah. (Turn off the sign) but the people are truly the reason I'm giving 5 stars. So welcoming and friendly! They have all the extras too like clean bathrooms and pool but I can't get over the great attitude. KOA Cody (3 star) could learn some good manners from these folks.

Nice clean campground right in Cody. Near everything. You can get on the trolly your here and the bus to the rodeo. Walking distance to the Bill Cody museum. Check in was efficient. Back in site was $55 w/o discounts. Some sites look tight and close to neighbors, others better. Ours was 18/19, in the corner, just right. Bath house and a nice laundry also.

The lady up front was SUPER nice. The restrooms / showers you front were very clean and nice. It was our first time staying some place with open tent camping (open area, pitch tent where ever you like within it), but it worked out just fine. They do have more secluded tent spaces in the back, but we opted up front for proximity to the amenities. Perfectly fine for us for an overnight.
