I’m so glad I found this little salon! It’s beautiful and both the manager and employees are amazing! I had my hair done by Rubi, and she did a beautiful job with my highlights, as well as making it a very relaxing experience :) I had Rubi also do my husband’s keratin treatment and his hair has never looked better… highly recommended this salon!

If your in Monterey for a wedding, special event, or just want to look a little glamorous this is the spot! The owner Brandi is amazing! She did make up and her gal Ruby did the hair. I made the appointment about 2 months back and ended up canceling the trial after sending Brandi some pics and assured me that she can do the style/makeup. The makeup Brandi used on me was light and didn't feel greasy or heavy on most importantly is stayed throughout the night. The two who styled me were so friendly and made the time fun! They take there time with each client keeping the focus directly on you! The

I’m from out of state and needed a hair refresh for a wedding so I was lucky to get a last minute appointment at Alchemy. Brandi cut and styled my hair and I could not be more happy! She truly is an expert and someone you can trust with your hair. I wish I wasn’t leaving for home tomorrow so I could utilize more of the salon’s services. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be sure to come back next time I’m in Monterey.

I went in looking for a purple color with pink and blue, ended up deciding to do only purple after my consultation with the owner based on my hair history and not wanting to bleach my hair to get the look I wanted. Made my appointment and went in and Rubi did my hair. I had been box dying my hair for months but wanted something that would last. It's been over three weeks now and it's still a beautiful vibrant purple! I absolutely love the color and loved the service. Brandi did a keratin treatment for me and it is AMAZING. She took her time to explain the products she would use, the steps she’d take and did exactly as I asked. I washed my hair at home the next day and I didn't even need to use my flat iron. My hair was silky smooth right after a blow dry. This was awesome considering I have three little ones at home and don’t have lots of time to spend on my hair. Brandi was very transparent in emphasizing the importance of the products I should use at home without pushing me to buy what they had (which I ended up doing anyway). I can’t say enough nice

The BEST official photo I have EVER taken! Come one, come all, to the best salon I have ever been to. I came to Brandi (the owner) as a hot mess. She, without much direction from me, created a haircut and color that after a wash and blow-dry (done myself) gave me the best driver's license photograph in the history of my DMV experiences. Even during COVID I was so impressed with their procedures and handling. I felt safe at all times. You have to check out this hidden gem salon ! I've been looking for months for place to color my hair .. not just any color but basically platinum which it's hard to do especially when I had red hair before . A lot of place would take a glance at my hair and said nope sorry can't it's impossible which I kinda knew it was going to be a challenge but a flat no ? I was getting discouraged until Brandi reached out to and actually talked to me and was straight forward with me she even ask me to come in for a consult no promises just to analyze my hair to truly know what can be done . I went to another salon and had a very poor experience. Brandi and her team fixed the issues. When you walk in there is a positive vibe. They are so kind and professional. They resolved my color issues, gave me a great cut and I love going back for my appointments. I go to Angie and she is great! I also love the head massage you get with each Shampoo. I live in Monterey and love the salon, and highly recommend it. Brandi and Angie are both fantastic!
