A flotation tank is a large soundproof pod containing water with a high concentration of Epsom Salt. The salty water allows the person to float, and because the air and water is heated to the same temperature as the body, 93.5 f, the sensation of the water or air on the skin is greatly reduced giving the impression that you are effortlessly floating in nothingness.
Learn to enter into meditative states and start a meditation and or Yoga Practice with our simple yet very effective techniques. One on one sessions are tailored to fit clients personal needs and goals. Scheduled group classes are also offered for those seeking a group setting. Establishing a meditation and yoga practice is a great way to enhance your perception and experience more bliss, clarity, and overall wellness in your life.
It's not as scary as it looks. The space inside the flotation tank is large, approximately 4 feet wide by 8.5 feet long. You are free to exit the tank or get back in at your own will. You can even float with the door open. Since there is an absence of space, time and sensation it is difficult to feel claustrophobic within the tank.
