We diagnose and manage disease and insect issues that occur for turf, trees, shrubs and other landscape plants. We are continually studying and researching through Penn State, Longwood Gardens and other resources to stay current within our industry. In this fast-paced age, everyone needs a special, beautiful place to relax outdoors surrounded by birds, butterflies and wildlife.
We will help you create and maintain a place you will enjoy. Whether you own a private residence, a business, or an entire community, our goal is to provide and maintain healthy flora for all to enjoy. We love nature-its seems to be in our DNA. Darrel started an arboretum on our estate years ago which includes some nice oak specimens and only recently discovered his name "Darrel" actually means "grove of oak trees" in Welsh.

Punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and get this.affordable! Tree of Life did brush removal, tree trimming, and bug treating at my business and I couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend! We wanted to say how pleased we are with Stephen's work: the trimming, the mulching, the edging and everything.
Keith and Paula live in a beautiful historical setting. They've restored a lovely 19th-century farmhouse and initially contacted us to help with designing their estate's landscape. As we talked with this couple, we felt plant selection should not only reflect the historical aspect of their home but also fit with Keith and Paula's hobbies and lifestyles.
The spotted lanternfly is an invasive insect from Asia, currently found in southeastern PA and surrounding areas. This pest threatens agricultural commodities such as tree fruit, hardwood, grapes, landscape, and more. This pest is about an inch long and half inch wide with wings folded. Nymphs (immature insect) are 1/4 to 1/2 inch long and develop in four stages, all of which are wingless.
At Tree of Life Services, we completely endorse the Coalition for Urban Ash Tree Conservation. This educated group of researchers and industry leaders recognize the importance of ash trees in the residential and urban landscapes and are finding ways to save ash trees from the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB).

The young lady who applied grub and insect treatment to our lawn on July 14, 2020 was professional and courteous in addition to doing a good job. When she was finished she got her power pack leaf blower and cleaned our front, side and back walkways. Thank you so much. You are an asset to Tree of Life Services.

We wanted six large bushes removed from the front of our house that required trimming each year. Tree of Life gave us an estimate that was very fair. They help us to select bushes that I could easily maintain and would give us color in the front of the house. Darel and Elizabeth who own the business were very easily to work with. We listen to Elizabeth suggestions and we are so happy with the end results. However, we will not stop there. All the planning would be for naught would it not be for their work force who did the tearing out and planting of the new shrubs, tree and the mulching of the

Tree of Life handles our regular lawn treatment and we’ve always been highly satisfied, so I immediately looked to them when I wanted to spruce up some areas of our landscaping but had no idea what I should plant. From my first call with Elizabeth, she was fantastic to work with and gave me very helpful and thorough recommendations. She is very knowledgeable and guided me through the process. It’s especially impressive considering the limitations of COVID-19 social distancing rules. Great communication in both phone and email - responsive, professional and friendly. She also followed
