It was very evident in the first 5 minutes of meeting Jim that he is very knowledgeable and experienced with foam insulation. I was ready to go but his backlog was at least 2-3 weeks out. He and his wife went out of their way to accommodate me and did an outstanding job of getting my job done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Doctor Energy!

I’m a local contractor in the Madison/Chatham area and couldn’t figure out why the typical insulation methods we all use were not enough to fully insulate the addition we completed. I spoke to John in the morning and he was on the job within hours. He went through a variety of technical field checks to locate exactly what the issue was and gave a detailed and helpful explanation of why the original home builder skipped steps and how he could remedy the issue. After reading through the reviews and the soundproofing existing walls information on the Energy Smart website I filled out the inquiry entry hoping to hire this contractor to soundproof the outside facing walls on my home. John called me the very next day. Sadly he does not work outside the northeastern US and I live in the northwest, Washington state to be specific. That said, John spent the next 30 minutes with me and described in detail the methods and materials available for foam injection soundproofing existing homes and commercial properties I must say I have never had a contractor be so

I was having a problem with a cold bathroom. After speaking with John I knew he was the right person to help with my problem. He is very knowledgeable and polite. John really takes pride in what he does and it shows by his professionalism. When he arrived at my home he went over a few solutions to help with the cold coming into the bathroom. His team sprayed foam into the walls around the bathtub area to help minimize the cold. To my delight i could tell the bathroom felt warmer.
