Jason helped us plan my mothers wishes for when she passed. He was so thoughtful and understanding and really helped us through everything in a very difficult time. We could not ask for a better person or experience in a difficult time. He was there for at any time. Thank you Jason and the funeral home for everything in making my moms memorial the best.

My experience with Sytsema funeral homes was awesome. Mr. James Sytsema was very professional, polite and passionate about his job, things that I had forgot to take care of he was right on top of it. Although it was a sad occasion everyone raved how the staff was very courteous and friendly. My family and I enjoy working with Mr. James Sytsema I gave James and staff a 5 plus. Thank you all for making it easier on our family 😊

The services we received was spectacular! I was totally lost and confused during this time. Eric came in and made this very sad and difficult time less stressful and as smooth as it could’ve been. I could never express my family’s gratitude to him for his professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond his job responsibilities. The support Eric offered extended beyond just basic funeral services; it was like he was family. Systema really cares!

Eric Hathorn and stuff were wonderful after the passing of my brother back in April of 2021. We had a funeral service here in Muskegon then, we decided to take his reminds to Mexico. Eric went above and beyond helping our family with all this process. He sacrificed his vacation to ensure his remims made it to Mexico within a week. Eric is very professional, dedicated, and passionate at what he does.

I am so thankful we chose Sytsema Funeral Homes to handle my husband's visitation and funeral. Every person we dealt with was compassionate, professional, and accommodating to our requests. All staff was available to answer questions, give advice, and work with us. The funeral directors with whom we worked couldn't have been more helpful during this difficult time.

I never knew what real pain was until I lost my mother Latecia Everette on Mother’s Day 2021. This was an experience i wasn’t prepared for. I had never made funeral arrangements before however my mother stated while she was alive exactly how she wanted things to go.

During the loss of my father, Sytsema welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family with dignity and quality care. Their professional services exceeded my expectations! They were very knowledgeable of the services they offered and were able to speak well as to how they could meet our desires regarding final arrangements. The staff was really hospitable and accommodating. They even extended their services through follow up calls after all was said and done. I highly recommend to work with one of the directors, Allie. She was amazing and was the driving force behind this experience😊
