ARTS is a non-profit organization which provides demand response transportation services on a scheduled basis throughout northern Maine. ARTS serves all of Aroostook County, the Danforth area in Washington County and the Patten area in Penobscot county.
Services
Aroostook Regional Transportation System, Inc. (ARTS) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1979. Since that time, ARTS has provided a demand-response door to door transportation services for the people of Aroostook County. ARTS provides transportation to all towns in Aroostook County, Patten/Stacyville in Penobscot County and Danforth in Washington County.
Volunteering is a rewarding experience. By being a volunteer driver, you goal is to provide transportation for others that will help ease some of the burden and stress that people faces while they are focusing on healing and getting better which makes you feel needed. Volunteer drivers are wanted for all communities within Aroostook County, Patten area in Penobscot and Danforth area in Washington County.
