Does the name MarWin Bridal sound familiar? You are probably remembering the original MarWin Bridal opened in 1980 by husband and wife, Edward and Margaret Winwood. We are now open under the ownership of their granddaughter, Jamie McKee. Jamie grew up helping her grandparents at the bridal store and always dreamed of someday continuing the MarWin Bridal tradition.

Could not be happier with my experience! I took my pre-pandemic wedding dress to multiple places in Pittsburgh to get it increased in size and was told that I needed to buy a brand new dress. Went to MarWin Bridal and Karen was amazing! She was able to add a corset with a sheer back that made the dress fit perfectly! Got so many compliments on my wedding day. Highly recommend going to see them as soon as you can if you need alterations because their skills are in high demand for a reason!!

All of the ladies at Marwin are amazing to work with! The salon is so quaint and beautiful, with tons of dress options to try on. They are very accommodating and so helpful in finding THE perfect dress for YOU! I had such an amazing visit and I am so happy to have purchased my dress with them. I even bought my beautiful hair piece there. I also had my alterations done with them which was perfect - Karen was so patient with my wants and needs and got everything just right! Absolutely wonderful experience! Jamie made me feel comfortable immediately and really assisted me with what I was looking for. Jamie has been a friend of the family for years. She picked out both of my sister’s wedding dresses, so I knew I was in great hands. I had a few dresses that I thought I wanted, but after trying them on, it was a big no. After trying those on, now having no clue, I let Jamie do her thing and I’m glad I did. I would have never saw myself in a form fitting halter dress, but after some alterations by Karen at Marwin, I rocked it! The dress was unique and absolutely stunning. Have to give a shout-out to MarWin Bridal boutique in Irwin. Jamie, the owner made the entire process go very smoothly. Jamie helped get me fitted into everything and offered friendly, professional advice along the way. We bought in drinks and snacks and had the place to ourselves for two hours. I found the most amazing, elegant, classy dress there and can’t wait to wear it next May! Marwin carries Essence of Australia and they have so many gorgeous dresses. So glad this gem of a bridal boutique is right down the road.

In the past couple months of wedding dress shopping, we have had amazing experiences and worked with amazing consultants who have gone above and beyond to help us in the search for a perfect dress. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for our experience at Marwin Bridal today. Based on trips to other shops, I fully expected to spend at least a couple hours watching our bride try on gowns, and ensured that my schedule was clear for the whole day, only to spend a whopping 40 minutes at Marwin. I had such a great experience at MarWin! After having a not-so-great experience at a different boutique, I was nervous going into my appointment. Jennifer was my sales consultant and she was extremely helpful and patient! She pulled some really beautiful dresses for me and wasn’t pushy at all. Although I didn’t find “the one”, I would definitely recommend MarWin Bridal! And the shop is absolutely beautiful too!

I began shopping for my wedding dress in the fall of 2019. To say that the experience was top-notch is an understatement. The consultant was so accommodating, knowledgable, and patient with my indecisiveness. She allowed my family and friends who came with me to browse the store selections for me, as well as offering solid, practical advice. After hearing and understand dog my my vision, the consultant ended up finding THE perfect dress. I am unfortunately a covid bride. We were engaged early this year and jumped right into wedding planning. I was able to go dress shopping "twice" and I put twice in quotes because the last shopping experience was an awful one that I try to pretend didn't happen. I hurried and purchased a dress that I liked at my first appointment for fear of not having any dress at all. Since we have to postpone our wedding, I'm able to continue the dress search that was previously interrupted.

Loved the selection of GORGEOUS dresses. Jamie was so nice and helpful and patient! I thought I had found the dress but wasn't sure. Jamie told me she had in a different color and helped me in to it, then helped me in to one more I had really wanted to try on and then back to THE DRESS, all with a smile on her face :) Looking forward to coming in for my alterations because everyone is so nice.
ALSO Marwin doesn't just carry their dresses in the "standard sizes," Jamie also has a huge selection of plus sized dresses. So awesome!

MarWin is absolutely fabulous. I remember seeing their dresses in the window of their old location all the time as a little girl, so of course they was first on my list when it came time to find my own wedding dress. Jamie worked with me to help me find the dress of my dreams. I ended up with a dress I never would have picked out for myself. MarWin Bridal was the closest consignment wedding shop, so that's what drove me there. Once I walked through the front doors, I was immediately greeted and shown to where I could find the dresses in my price range. I found my dress within 5 minutes of looking, but tried some more just to get some feel.... I walked out with the dress of my dreams! I love that I helped a small, family run business over a box store. The customer service was phenomenal, the store was inviting and clean, and the selection of dresses was great!
