For example, Major Depression is one of the most common psychiatric disorders that accompany alcohol or drug abuse.

Please consider another location for IOP/PHP.
Staff clearly do not have proper education/training/experience.
I made an assessment appointment with Iesha over the phone, who only gave me basic information about the IOP program duration and format, but gave me no information about what the assessment process would entail or even the name of the individual my appointment was with.
When I arrived at MHR, Jennifer (receptionist) displayed obvious agitation that I did not know the name of the intake staff I was meeting with.
I was later astonished when I saw my copay receipt which noted the appointment

The counselors at MHR are great, but the fact that MHR takes advantage of you financially is draining. I paid for my program up front, and about a month afterwards had bills start coming in totaling over $600 for doctors I didn't see and for a program I paid for in full. They told me I couldn't continue with my doctors until I paid in full and wouldn't accept payments while letting me still receive help. I've never had a place tell me they wouldn't treat me while I actively made payments. I wish I could see my doctors still, but even if I paid it all off, I wouldn't go back just because of the

I went to Mental Health Resources for Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety and Chronic Depression assessment which went okay for almost 2 1/2 hours. The next day was the problem when I got triggered by a staff member from another program. It caused me to scream, uncontrollable crying and thoughts while he was in the room. The two female staff didn't handle the situation for a woman with Complex PTSD in an appropriate manner in my opinion. This program isn't good for a person with this diagnosis now.

The worst experience I could have ever had coming from a place that's supposed to be professional and help people with mental health issues. I had an appointment with Martha Anderson on Dec 29th 2020. The appointment had to be canceled because she had gotten in a car accident on her way to the appointment, no problem I was more than willing to reschedule. Not only was Martha extremely unprofessional in keeping communication and contact to sent up another appointment, but Jennifer Ferren, who had also shown me the same level of unprofessionalism that Martha had, 'tried' to 'help

The program was extremely helpful. Sometimes it can be scary to seek help for sensitive life issues, but the staff at MHR was very welcoming, nonjudgmental and allowed me to process an array of matters. Group therapy, class sessions and individual therapy were all collaboratively helpful and useful. I valued my time here.

I found all of the providers at Mental Health Resources to be kind, professional, and helpful. After 6 weeks of intensive outpatient therapy, I feel like I gained knowledge and perspective that allowed me to take back the power over my emotions, that I had previously felt powerless over. Depression and anxiety can leave you feeling like you have no purpose, and knowing that I was DOING something to truly help my current mood and feelings made a huge difference in my recovery. This is a warm, comfortable, and safe place to learn how to help yourself out of this hole. I really did have a great experience

Counselors lack self-esteem and confidence. A weak instructor felt inferior to me today, due to the fact that I made her look stupid and incompetent in her own class. People/students were texting on their phones and I was kind enough to write notes to myself about the program.
Instead of being a woman and asking everyone to pay attention, she decided to be a child and ask someone else to intervene for her lack of assertiveness.
People will pay attention in your class once you stop reading and copying from a sheet of paper (from a repeated lesson plan). Please allow your 10 plus years of experience
