Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society was founded in 1995. We will always remember why Ohio's first Cremation Society was created. We believe that the families we serve deserve a simple, stress-free and affordable option for cremation and memorial services. Today we are still committed to the families who tell us, "I just want something simple" or "I want a Celebration of Life service."
To try and ease the concerns of a family in their time of need, we developed a "Worry Free Cremation Process" to give you a high degree of confidence in our cremation process at the Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society. Below are the 10 steps taken every time we have the honor of serving a family in their time of need.
At Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society, we have an enormous amount of respect and appreciation for caregivers. The caregiver may be a hospice professional, clergy, a medical or nursing professional, healthcare administrative professional, or anyone else that is seen as an important caregiver in our community.
Cremation is a simple and affordable alternative to "traditional" burial services for your loved one. Many want to put as little a burden on their family as possible, and by choosing cremation you eliminate many difficult decisions, such as the need to buy a casket, vault, grave space, flowers, etc.

Ohio Cremation and Memorial was.who we have used for my wifes mom, aunt and most recently my uncle. They we very professional and explained every thing to us. The gentlemen that came to pick up my uncle was very professional even at the young age. The first thing they did after introducing themselves they ask if my uncle was a military vet. They placed an american flag over his body as they brought him out. A very touching moment. I would gladly recommend OCM to any one. Rick and his staff are wonderful people. And they follow up with you to see if there is anything they can do.

Beth, Arianna and Rick were all so helpful and caring in finalizing Mom’s service and cremation.
Kind, caring and compassionate is an understatement.
I’d highly encourage everyone to pre-plan funeral arrangements for yourself and loved ones. Not having that stress during a very emotional time will enable you in the passing of a loved one!!

Rick has been the best funeral director we could’ve asked for. He has helped guide us in planning our father’s funeral and even made the experience a good one in the hardest time of our lives. They are the absolute best when you are at your absolute worst. They were so caring and kind that words can't express my gratitude for them Michael was so understanding that I am 900 miles away and that just popping in is not an option, he went way above and beyond for me and I am still so appreciative for him. This is an excellent facility. The staff is knowledgeable, respectful and they are proud of their place in the community. Our circumstances were a little odd as the deceased had been in a home, completely non-responsive for 5 of 12 years. The staff here understood what we wanted and did everything right. I am very pleased as the husband of the deceased. When my time comes I will surely be using Ohio Cremation & Memorial.

I recently lost my 97 year old mother and used Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society for her cremation. They were extremely helpful and caring. I felt that they would take good care of my mother. I couldn't have asked for anything more at this difficult time. I even received a couple follow ups to make sure that I was doing ok. I highly recommend this company.

I recently had to unfortunately use their services to cremate my brother. The process was so difficult but they made it as stressless as they possibly could for me. They were so kind over the phone, and in person when we came to pick up his remains. They offered to help me find grief counseling and a few weeks later texted me just to check in on me. Thank you so much for all that you do, I can't imagine you have an easy job but you are making a difference.
