Yarborough Mill is an indoor/outdoor venue and can accommodate up to 150 guests. The rustic and romantic Pavilion on the water is a beautiful setting to say, "I do." The Victorian Bridal Cottage furnished with antiques, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, provides plenty of space for the bridal party to get ready and assemble before the ceremony.
A perfect option for the couple who want to rent just the venue and bring in their own full-service vendors to suit their particular taste and budget but still desire a beautiful outdoor rustic wedding with a touch of Victorian elegance. Spend the day getting ready in the Victorian bridal cottage, beautifully appointed with art and antiques, a full kitchen, dining and living area for serving lunch or snacks, with 9:00 am access.

I am local to the area, and a photographer. I enjoyed working this venue. The location has rustic wooded locations to shoot pictures in. The location also sports more detailed location shoots in a barn from the late 1800s. Great location for a rustic mountain wedding. The venue is located in the northwest Georgia area in Fairmount, Georgia just north of Atlanta, Georgia.

Myself and my associate photographers have photographed weddings at this venue on three separate occasions, and I really love it for several reasons.
First, it's just beautiful and the options for gorgeous photos are unending between the four buildings on property and the vast outdoors with fields, woods, the river, and the long winding driveway/road. I'd be happy to share a full gallery with anyone of this location.
Another huge advantage of having a wedding here is that everything is onsite. Getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Being able to do all of that at one location

Karen Llop does a fantastic job of providing the best wedding venue. Seamless with her vendors. Such a lovely place that created the wedding of the couple's dreams and the parents! Thank you for such a special place that you have offered to share. Oh, one lovely note was that a couple met at the wedding and then married at Yarborough Mill. Lovely circle of love!

Karen, the venue representative, was an absolute PAIN to deal with. Zero freedom to decorate the way we wanted without having her throw her “suggestions” into every decision. When we actually did need help she was more trouble than the original issue. She accused us of stealing when she misplaced her umbrella, she wasn’t clear about what was provided and was so worried about the venue we couldn’t enjoy it even though we were incredibly respectful to her and the property.
I do NOT recommend this venue especially on a day that is as important as a wedding day.

No air conditioning! Prepare to sweat!!!
No golf cart assistance to move bridal party from one house to the other, so prepare to walk carrying all of your belongings.
Dead bugs were on the floor in every room
Dust covered the light bulbs in the reception quarters where you have dinner.
The benches at the wedding ceremony was very unstable, not secure at all!
Chairs at the table where you eat where flimsy and so uncomfortable.
The manager of the venue will drive you crazy! She interrupted our photographer several times telling her what time it was beginning at 9:30pm,, repeating every 10 minutes

The second we arrived at Yarborough Mill we knew it was where we would get married. The amazing grounds and the aesthetics and charm of the event spaces are unlike any other. Karen the owner of the venue was amazing to work with and super helpful with everything. We absolutely LOVED it and so did our guests. Yarborough Mill made our wedding day extra special. Highly recommend for your special wedding day!

“Magical”is the first word that comes to mind when I describe Yarborough Mill .This enchanted place tucked away in the woods was like stepping back in time . It was the perfect spot for Rachel and Dillons wedding . Our guests are still raving about this venue. There’s just something very special about this place . Karen and her preferred vendors were wonderful ! They worked very hard to make their day perfect .

My husband & I got married at this venue 2 weeks ago! It was my absolute dream venue! Absolutely gorgeous grounds, extremely elegant with a rustic touch!
