One of the main reasons Hero Moving came about was the need for a moving company different from the rest. One that would allow current and aspiring first responders to provide for their families as well as provide a quality service to customers that can be summed up with one word. Over a decade ago due to the recession owner, Kyle, was faced with a decision to change careers.
After Becoming a member of the local fire department Kyle continued his education with fire science and soon was on his way to a degree in criminal justice followed by completion of the police academy. While going to school Kyle still needed a way to provide for his family. He worked for a moving company during the day while getting his degree at night.

Services
Our residential moving policies and procedures stress the importance of caring for your home during the move. This includes your interior walls and flooring. We expect our First Responder Movers to treat all moving customer's homes as though they were their own. Our staff or movers undergo background screens and physical agility training for their field as first responders so you know you're getting the best help there is!
Residential house moves are the most common service that we provide. Whether we move just your large items or your entire home, we will make sure that your needs are met. We use moving blankets on all furniture pieces along with shrink wrap to make sure no drawers fall out and all corners of furniture are protected.

These guys are #1 in moving!!! Very organized, courteous and professional!! We are newlyweds and barely had time for a move, but Hero moving made the transition from my apartment to my hubby's home so easy and in record time!! Was even more affordable than what was originally quoted because these guys are really THAT good at time management!! Very hard workers and very nice!! We highly recommend this amazing crew!!! These guys were incredible! I had the "A Team" - Luke, Taylor, Patrick, and Stephen! They were so hard working! I never saw them walk - they constantly ran between places. They managed to move my entire house (which I had lived in for 25 years) in 10 hours. During the move they were extremely polite, respectful, and accommodating. They gave great ideas for furniture placement, and constantly checked in with me to see if I was pleased. I highly recommend them and would for sure hire them again for any move!

Hero Moving moved us locally in the Georgetown/ Leander area. While the movers were nice, we had multiple items damaged during the move. I've been even more disappointed with their follow up after the move to correct these items. We were moved in early May and not 1 item has been repaired. Additionally, we haven't received a phone from anyone in the office. They say they have 90 days to correct, so I'm hopeful they will do the right thing.

We did not have a good experience with this company. The movers were nice guys, but when they put the beds back together at the new residence, they were not fully attached. They were in a rush to get out. We also had a couple of spots on the wood floors in our new home that had gotten some damage. The biggest issue we had is that the final price was double the quoted price. At no time during the moving process did they come to us to address the price increase. It was definitely a shock. We addressed it with the company and they did not attempt to reconcile any of the cost. This was my retirement

Sept. 5, 2018: First off, I want to say that Hero Moving has been my go to moving company the past few years. I've always felt I could trust them with any and all of my valuable possessions. Hiring a company whose staff are First Responders and whose motto for business is "DUTY-HONOR-TRUST" made it a no brainer for me.
Present day: It is now just over 2 months since Hero Moving owner Kyle promised he would take care/replace a valuable "Big Green Egg" grill that was broken by his staff while moving our property from our last home to our new home. Not once did I ever

This is long overdue. I just wanted to applaud Harry and his crew that came and moved me from my place to my new spot on the 21st.
I was so impressed. I wasnt sure how things would go and not knowing how long it would take, I was a bit anxious! Harry and his crew arrived on time to start eagerly and with professional and friendly attitudes.
They had a plan from start to finish. They took charge took care of my items and respected the fact that we needed booties on their shoes in my sister's house, thank you!
I know I didnt have too much stuff but they worked real hard and expeditiously

We used this service to relocate from the Austin area to NE Texas. The team arrived on time and packed for 12 hours. The unpacking from the trucks to storage was rushed and unorganized. The price was $3,000 more than we were expecting. We didn't know about the increase until the job was completed. Huge disappointment. Our belongings have been in temporary storage for months. So, I didn't know the condition of our items until now. I was very disappointed to discover that our clothes were not hung/packed in wardrobe boxes. Best movers ever! If you need movers and want someone that is efficient can think out of the box doesn't waste time, this is the company! My buyers loan didn't fund on the day it should have so I ended up calling Hero Moving at 4:45pm the day before they were scheduled to be at my house asking what can we do. Jessica said give her few minutes and she would call me back. Well within 5 minutes she called me back and had a brilliant solution, I was so grateful that they could think out of the box and had a solution if I couldn't get in my house the next, fortunately I did.

Well its official, we have now moved the rest of our stuff out of storage and 100% moved into our new house and I am so thankful we found great help. (This review is long over due). Hero Movers helped us back in January after we waited till the last minute and our previous movers were unavailable. The two men that came out were just a delight and definitely knew what they were doing. My only complaint is they ran out of moving pads at the end and i had to use some of my bedding to avoid a few pieces getting scratched or damaged. Incredibly sweet young gentlemen came to our home, arrived punctually (even called ten minutes prior to arriving as the young woman making our appointment said they would). Both men worked like they were unpacking and moving their own furniture and precious belongings into their own home. They never slacked and were extremely surprised when I insisted they take a few breaks, having water or electrolyte drinks (they'd actually brought their own) and donuts! =)
