We understand that arriving at a doctor's office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Tyler chiropractic office for the first time. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.

This initial visit is designed for us to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals. We will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. Pros: The staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable.
Cons: Billing is horrid. I received a bill after not visiting them for 8 months. The reason I stopped going was because my price kept fluctuating even though I have received the same care. I even stopped getting the E-Stim and my bill went up. Cash price is 45. With insurance I had visits totaling more than the cash price.
I could be wrong and it be my insurance company that can't get it together, but I hate that I often paid more with insurance than if I had just paid cash. After I met my deductible it was only supposed to be around $10

Lately I have had difficulty walking and a lot of stiffness and neck pain radiating down to my hips and legs. After a few weeks of this I decided to give Hembree Chiropractic a try. I felt instant relief and calmness much like you get after a massage. I have a little bit of soreness (not bad) which is expected since I have a lot of issues walking in. I had never had an adjustment with the impulse adjustment instrument before and I have to say I prefer it much better to the traditional way of adjustment. Everyone was so nice as well.

We just had our first visit for my 11 year old son yesterday. I was very nervous about getting adjustments on a child, but the staff were all very kind and told us exactly what to expect at each step. Dr.Carter was excellent! As a nurse/mom, I really appreciated the time he took to show me what what he was looking for and how to know it was corrected with the adjustments.

Being new to the area they were very nice, professional and gave me a lot of information on their practice and how they adjust. Since it was my first time there it was a longer appointment, almost 1.5 hours. I came from a hands-on chiropractic style so not sure how I like this style yet. Will give it some time.

We brought our 4.5 week old son Luke for the first time to have an adjustment and the level of care, passion, communication and everything was OUTSTANDING! Chiropractor Cody Carter so so so gentle with our little boy, he didn’t cry one time. He actually smiled at him I will definitely be returning for any needs of mine or my babies in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our 1yr old son was diagnosed with torticollis and a friend recommended Dr. Hill to us for his treatment. When I tell you absolutely EVERYONE in that office is AMAZING I 100% mean it! Not only is the staff amazing but the other patients are so sweet and friendly as well! Its truly such a joy to walk in and the staff know my son by name with just a few appointments under our belt and the level of care and compassion towards our son and us is just unmatched elsewhere! You can't go wrong with Hembree Chiropractic!
