When describing orthodontics, most people just refer to braces. While the majority of orthodontic cases involve braces, there are alternatives that may be used for younger children or adults. Arch expanders for younger children can minimize or eliminate the need for braces when the problem is treated early enough.
Although the frequent subject of humor, in many cases, snoring is no laughing matter! Not only does snoring disrupt the sleep cycles of other family members, but in the case of sleep apnea, snoring can be a sign of a dangerous health problem. Sleep apnea actually cuts off the flow of oxygen to the brain, and in severe cases can cause serious damage.
With the exception of your natural teeth, nothing looks more natural than an implant. One important benefit of implants is that they slow the shrinking of bone and gum tissue from the area of the missing tooth, thus preventing premature aging. Of Americans between the ages of 18 and 64, approximately 49% are missing at least one tooth.
A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of your face. Even a subtle change can make a big difference in the way you look and feel. New techniques like whitening, bonding, enamel shaping, veneers, and white fillings allow us to create a beautiful smile with, at times, only minimal changes to existing teeth.

Orthotropics is something I became interested in when the dentist recommended that my 6 year old son have ANOTHER couple teeth extracted.
I found that this dentist office was the only one that practiced Orthotropics within 2 hours of us. Being that far away, I called & talked to Dr. "Jim" Fletcher. He was very open to listening & I was able to ask him specifically about my son's situation & he offered his advice in a warm, nonpressure way, giving specific examples of what I could do to help him right now & examples of what he might suggest in the future.
I am so grateful for his over-the-phone
