Gorsegner Brothers Hardwood Floors was founded in 1951 by John Gorsegner, Sr. and was called at that point simply, "John Gorsegner Hardwood Floors." The company was started with a simple aim: to provide quality hardwood flooring at decent prices and help people maintain the look of their floors for years to come.
John emphasized hard work and customer service and both of those legacies remain with the company today. In the 1960's John's two sons, John and Fred began working with their father and eventually took over the business that he started. John and Fred have worked tirelessly ever since to continue to provide the high-quality floor sanding, waxing, and installation that people had come to know for many years.

These guys are really, really good. This company did a large project for me about 12 years ago and their work was flawless and customer service was great. I had them back in this year to do another large project and the quality of work and customer service has fallen off considerably. I figure some of that could be the result of the covid crisis and difficulty in completing jobs in this environment, but not all of it. We recently used Gorsegner Brothers to re-finish the hardwood floors on the main level and upstairs in a new house we purchased in Monmouth County. While the process started off well enough, with Brittany in the office being helpful in organizing a digital estimate due to challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the rest of the process and end product fell short of our expectations. For starters, the "99% dust free" comment was not nearly true, as the whole upstairs of our home had dust all over the walls and grime on most of the doors (all of which were just freshly painted (which Gorsegner
