I'm a veteran window tinter and am now out of the game, pursuing other paths. I'm picky. I know what to look for. JR at Tintsmith is the ONLY shop I'll take my personal vehicles to. Prior to me opening my business, Tintsmith did my cars when they were at the old location on N. Oak and 72nd.
I'd recommend this shop to ANYONE over any other tint business in KC.
- Prices are right.
- Quality work, you won't be dissatisfied at all.
- No purple color years later (unless you're stupid and clean your windows with ammonia).

Excellent finished product! I came to Tintsmith the first time for tinted tail light film for my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. I returned for a window tint for my new Ford Explorer. JR took care of both jobs. Timely and professional. Highly recommended!

I originally had my windows tinted by Tint Smith, at the dealership where I bought my car from. But there was miscommunication between me and the dealership, and my windows were not dark enough. I call TintSmith and told them that I wasn't happy with the tint of my windows. TintSmith redid my windows, and this time I am extremely happy with the outcome. TintSmith went above and beyond customer service. They are professional, kind, informative and quick. I would highly recommend TintSmith to anyone who wants an outstanding job done on their vehicle. Tintsmith did a great job on my '06 Civic. They got me in on a Saturday morning and had it done even quicker than estimated - the whole thing took no more than 45 mins. I chose to go with the basic performance tint line, and all was done very well and with great quality. The Tintsmith sticker they put on your window is about 1.5" wide and you can barely see it - they also put it on the outside of the window so you can take it off if you don't want it. Other places put the sticker under the tint so you're forced to keep it. Their shop is very clean, too. I would highly recommend
