Founded in 1987, ProFed Financial Advisors was created to work closely with members of ProFed Federal Credit Union in forming sound, long-term investment strategies. Our close work with credit union leadership gives us the distinct advantage of understanding credit unions and their philosophy, as well as, understanding their members.
We're accustomed to educating and working with both experienced and new investors, so we take the time to understand their needs and concerns. And, we explain what we believe will work best for them and why. While we work closely with the credit union, membership is not a requirement to take advantage of our services.

Services
We believe that Knowledge, Experience and Commitment are key elements for long-term success. Our Team is lead by Financial Consultants who have spent two decades informing clients about investing, continuing their own education within the industry and who do so on a full-time basis. The clients of ProFed Financial Advisors are supported by our entire staff - not just one advisor or the other.
Working with hundreds of educators over the past decades, we couldn't help but gain some insight into how educating others can be best achieved. While we have a passion for what we do at work, we understand that for some people dealing with financial matters may be among their least favorite things to do.
Over our twenty years of working with investors we have worked with nearly every kind of investor there is; retirees, pre-retirees, corporations, non-profit organizations, and trusts, but they all seek one thing in common - simple, honest, straightforward conversation about what they're trying to achieve and how we can help them.
There is no cost or obligation for this initial meeting. We know that our services and fees are very competitive within the industry, and will gladly discuss them with you when we meet. We want this first meeting to focus on learning about you and your goals and objectives. Only then can we explain how we believe we can be of help to you in pursuing them.
We've put together a library of information on important financial topics that we believe you'll find helpful. This information is updated regularly to reflect the latest facts, figures, legislation, and economic trends. Wills and trusts allow you to spell out how you would like your property distributed, but they also go beyond that.

I’ve been banking with ProFed for years without issue…however, this year has been horrible! They rolled out a new app that has been a nightmare for everyone. They decided that rolling it out on the first of the month(when everyone’s bills are due) was a good idea. And Every visit I’ve had to a branch always has someone there trying to figure out how to use the app. It’s confusing, not user friendly, and has a really dated look. It’s just bad. And then somehow my card gets hacked so they stop the use of my card. That’s good, except the number that was given to activate my new card

Since I started my mortgage payments with ProFed, I have almost always enjoyed paying them over the phone, without a fee. Now, with the pandemic, and everyone practicing social distancing, and when paying over the phone can be a tremendous convenience, and more importantly, a tremendous safety benefit for everyone, ProFed starts a $5 fee for over the phone payments!! What a way to take advantage of a desire to be just that much safer! Shame on you, Pro-Fed!!
