Services
Perched on 1,500 acres of picturesque countryside, Stella welcomes everyone to experience the lush landscape of Louisiana. Stella combines Mother Nature's beauty with contemporary sophistication. The late Mr. Chalin Perez spent his life repairing and preserving Stella. After purchasing the abandoned property and one-story, dirt floor house in 1951, Mr. Perez had a lifelong inexhaustible love and nostalgia for the region and its landscape.
When touring Stella, guests park by and enter through the office to meet our Event Manager and discuss their event details. The Guest House is a quaint 1920's-era bungalow that sits between the pool and the gazebo. The Carriage House is a nearly 1500 square-foot rustic open-air venue for informal gatherings or a creative place to serve appetizers and cocktails before moving on to the main event.
Boys Hope Girls Hope helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential and become men and women by providing value centered, family-like homes, opportunities and education through college. Stella hosts the children of Boys Hope Girls Hope annually to tour the expansive grounds and teach about the local agriculture of our great state.

Stella may be a little far out but this venue is totally worth it! Not only is the venue stunning, the people that work there are so helpful and lovely! I had the most perfect wedding at stella with the huge help of Shelby Daugherty. She was the day of coordinator and she truly went above and beyond the call of duty. She took care of things we didn't even know we needed to. The day was flawless because of her and I can't thank her enough. Some one give this girl a raise. Bottom line if you are thinking about getting married at Stella, do it. 10/10 would recommend.

I wish the best for any business. We came to attend a wedding. The event was held under an outdoor tent. Word of advice for the owner/owners....build a pave walkway for your guest from the parking lot. Many people ruin their nice shoes walking into the venue.. Make the entrance for your guest away from the service entrance.

My friends and I were looking for a place to go on a little staycation to get away. Our group consisted of 9 people (4 couples & 1 single friend). We decided to book the weekend at Stella after seeing the awesome accommodations they offered. Let me just say — it was so worth it!

Words can not describe the wonderful experience we had. Your wedding day can be hectic, crazy and overwhelming at times. Stella Plantation, and their staff, made our wedding the most romantic, easy, fun, smooth, beautiful...the list can go on and on. The grounds, the trees, and the history makes this the most memorable and romantic place around. Their staff makes everything so easy and uneventful. Highly recommend!!!

I got married at Stella on 12/2/17 and everything about it was fantastic. From the gorgeous clubhouses to get ready in, the ability to decorate and customize your reception in the tent, the amazing on-site coordinator Caroline (who was an angel and truly gave us the peace of mind to relax on our day) to the beautiful lining of the trees. Stella was everything we could have wanted in a venue and we’re so glad we chose to get married here. Our guests were coming up to us all night saying it was one of the prettiest outdoor venues they’d ever been to.

The moment we saw Stella we knew it was the perfect place for our destination wedding. When we initially pulled into the driveway of the stunning property, we knew we instantly this was the perfect place for us. After meeting with Stella’s coordinator Caroline Parrone, she completely helped solidify our decision. Wow! Where to even begin. Stella Plantation is absolutely beautiful!! It was so nice to find a setting like this just 45 min from the city, which allowed us to show our guests a completely different side of New Orleans. The event space is amazing and so is the space for the wedding party to get ready beforehand. Caroline, the events manager / planner, is incredible. She is reliable, extremely responsive, and so pleasant!
