Compounds undergo testing to ensure products meet safety standards required by the FDA, California State Board of Pharmacy, and National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). Adhere to all non-sterile compounding guidelines set by United States Pharmacopeia (795) and (800) chapters. We will try to bill your insurance company and provide claim forms to assist in getting your medications covered if requested.

I live in SF and get a prescription filled through Central Drugs that I can't get anywhere up here, and they are GREAT! Every single customer service person I've ever spoken with is helpful and pleasant. Today, Denise went above and beyond to help sort out an insurance issue. Once, they helped get my Rx shipped to a Vintage Trailer resort in Oregon, and helped troubleshoot the delivery issues with FedEx...They are awesome. Shipping is timely and they offer an inexpensive 2-day option if you are in a pinch.

Do not get your COVID vaccine here. The person administering the vaccine did not change their gloves before giving me the vaccine. Said person was wearing the gloves at the reception area, touching things there, then never changed it when they got to me. Also everyone in the front wears gloves and I have no clue if they are ever chang them after touching everyone's IDs and credit cards. I'd prefer if they just didn't wear gloves and used hand sanitizer in between customers.

This pharmacy is horrendous. Last month I order medications through their automated dial-in system. A day or two later, I get a phone call telling me the prescriptions are ready to be picked-up. However, when I arrive, I'm told they couldn't fill all of the prescriptions. Why wasn't I informed of this during the phone conversation. Now, this month, I go to pick-up a prescription only to be told the pharmacy is unable to fill it because a particular drug is on back order. Okay, that happens. But, then I'm told I was called and so informed. Unless that call was made in the 1:45

I've been a patient of their 2 pharmacies for 10 years. They are an amazing compounding pharmacy. But they are more than just compounding, they offer pharmacy grade supplements, affordable regular over the counter products, even medical equipment. Their clinical Pharmacist Dr Aswin Patel is empathetic, knowledgeable and very helpful. I was very sick this week with a sinus infection and his recommendations for over the counter products made me feel so much better in just 3 days. One of the best pharmacies in OC. Thank you for really caring for the well-being of your patients!

I used to get my meds from Wallgreens then moved to CVS. stayed with CVS for the longest time but got tired of their service.
First time using this Central Drugs Pharmacy-- EXCELLENT so far!

I used this pharmacy for years and they WERE very good. Something has changed. Last week, I called in a refill for my thyroid med but never received it. When I called to check status, they said it was shipped and that USPS tracking showed it arrived. It did not! No apologies, no nothing. I had to pay for a second order plus next-day shipping with a different carrier. THAT order never arrived either.
The woman on the phone was robotically apologetic as if reading a script, and blamed the delivery service. At the least, she should have offered to cover shipping on the second order. I eventually

Regularly have difficulty with filling prescriptions here. My first prescription took 6weeks and repeated phone calls.
Only once did they process my prescription in less than a week not including shipping time.
This last time they sent me the wrong medicine. It was already weeks late.
It's even more important to get it right if the customer has to mail their wrong prescriptions back to you when the pharmacy makes a mistake.
Try a little harder central drugs. You're missing the mark.

Was getting excellent customer service in the past, but my doctor sent over a refill authorization in early December. Never heard anything from Central Drugs. Called last week, asking for a status, but only got voice mail. One week later, I call again requesting status, routed to voice mail. Still waiting for a response. Called again, this time pressed "0" and was transferred to a live body. Was told that my refill request was never received. When I asked why no one called me back from last week when my voice mail specifically requested a call back regarding the status, was told there

They have a great in-store selection of orthotics, compression items, holistic supplements, work-out vitamins and stacks, as well as an assortment of candies and snacks for the health considerate and diabetic in mind. In store, or mail order is available for your convienince!

Customer service is atrocious. 85% of the time there is an issue with a Rx. They don't ship it, they ship the wrong item, things are missing, etc. NEVER is there an apology for the mistake, or any form of customer appreciation.
You can never get someone on the phone that knows what they're doing.
I would recommend finding somewhere that is interested in customer service, satisfaction and efficiency. This is certainly NOT the place.
