Okanogan County Transportation & Nutrition
Okanogan County Transportation & Nutrition is dedicated to improving quality of life for seniors, handicapped and the general public of Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas and Lincoln Counties and to encourage independent living through nutrition and transportation services. Our programs are designed to further our mission and provide much needed services for the citizens in our communities.

Take a look. Monthly long distance trips are scheduled from Brewster, Twisp, Tonasket and Oroville to both Omak and Wenatchee. Reservations are required. This is the coolest thing! If you are an Amazon shopper, you can support Okanogan County Transporation and Nutrition just by shopping. Think about the heroes in your life, whether it's somebody you know, people in your community or even those across the globe.
Services
Senior meals were first provided only in Okanogan County. In 2005, Chelan and Douglas Counties were added to our service area and in 2008, Lincoln County was added to our service area. Overall, OCTN provides approximately 87,500 meals to seniors at senior centers throughout our service area and 30,000 meals to homebound seniors.
We offer a wide range of programs and services to meet the needs of those who don't otherwise have access to meals or transportation. We help them and their families by providing programs, information and resources to assist in their journey. We also help by raising awareness through public outreach and media.
The essence of our organization exists in our human spirit - the spirit and passion of those that serve and the spirit and determination of those who accept our services. We are dedicated to raising awareness of our cause and serving those in need. In this section you will find all that you need to know about our people, mission, history and frequently asked questions.
Our board represents a cross-section of our community and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The members work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization and oversee that the funds raised directly affect those in need. Our staff has a strong commitment to serving the many constituents of our organization.
Please note that at this time these forms cannot be completed electronically. They will have to be printed. Nutrition positions require food handler's permit. We are actively seeking candidates to fill the position of Cook for our Brewster, Oroville and Omak/Okanogan Senior Meal Sites immediately. Positions are part time, six to seven hours per day.

The shuttle smells horrible, even some of the people who get on smell really bad! The thought process that went in for the stops it makes where made by a 3 year old who played 'eeny-meeny-miney-mo'. There are several stops it NEEDS to make between 2nd & Norman and the DSHS office; Such as DMV the hospital or the several doctors located in the area of the hospital.
This would have made it as a private sent complaint, but since their website refuses to accept complaints, and calling and telling them about it does nothing it went here.
