Celebrating 20 wonderful years of precious memories and history with hundreds of residents, their families and our staff. We are grateful to God for the vision of one man committing to the loving and compassionate care for our seniors in a Christ-like environment. The Gardens at Calvary is located in the heart of the beautiful Chattahoochee Valley and is reflective of the well-known hospitality of the South.
We are 90 miles southwest of Atlanta and very proud neighbors of the United States Army Infantry, Fort Benning. In the Northside part of Columbus, we are minutes away from shopping, museums, and performing arts. Rich in history, familiar faces are never far away. Our home here at The Gardens at Calvary is designed with community at the forefront.

Services
I am honored to serve as the Executive Director at The Gardens at Calvary. I have roots that run deep at Calvary Ministries. My mom served as Brother Don Wilhite's secretary in the 1990's, and during that time I attended Calvary Baptist Church and Calvary Christian School. As Brother Don once told me "You have Calvary in your DNA".
Our assisted living community is a senior living solution with a wide range of services for those adults that can live independently but also require a limited amount of assistance. We provide the level of care needed to flourish in this new phase of their life. Offering limited clinical services ranging from gentle reminders to assistance in daily care needs, our care staff provides the necessary oversight needed for the individual.
We want to celebrate each one of them and their hard work with an extra-special THANK YOU during EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION WEEK in October. Thank you for appreciating them as much as the Leadership of The Gardens at Calvary and Calvary Ministries. We exist to provide a home of loving and compassionate care for seniors who need more than day-to-day assistance while maintaining their dignity in a Christ-like environment.

And it does. The threat of physical suffering is real, but the overwhelming burden that most of us feel, including our residents here at The Gardens, is really separation. We can't meet our friends for dinner somewhere, we can't greet loved ones with a handshake and a hug, and we can't cuddle our grandbabies.

I am so thankful to have my father as a resident at The Gardens at Calvary! They are caring and attentive to his needs. I relocated my dad from an assisted living in Long Beach, CA. He tells me every time I see him how much he loves where he lives now. Thank you, to all the staff and caregivers at The Gardens at Calvary! You have made my dad a happy man.

I love that Gardens at Calvary has a weekly traditional worship service for the residents complete with things they are familiar with - hymns, sermon, even a church bulletin!! The love shown the residents on a daily basis is just amazing!! The staff always go above and beyond what a “worker” would do. So impressed!!

My Mom has lived here for 5 years. The facilities and daily activities are first rate. The staff is caring and work as a team to ensure all needs are met. We always feel welcome when we visit, even when I bring my dog. The staff make every effort to ensure families can enjoy fellowship time with the residents. Mom takes advantage of medication management services offered at the Gardens. We appreciate the thorough job done in this area including the continuity and personalities of the staff.

They are always friendly to me, and always loving and patient with the residents. They have been such a blessing to my mom and I am grateful she is able to be among such a caring family.
