While my degree is in business, I have also loved working with children, especially babies. I can't say I'm surprised this is where my career led me.

I'm Heather, owner of Heather Kelly Photography. You can see me pictured with my family and my favorite little ones in the photos above. I never know what to write on these things and have typed and backspaced more than I care to admit. So here's a little about me. I was "team green" with all my children and it was such a great experience finding out in the delivery room.
It will be hands on so bring your camera (DSLR recommended), your camera manual and a lens. You can post images and ask for constructive criticism and learn what you did right and where you can improve. Classes are on a first come basis. Photography agreement and payment must be completed to reserve your spot.
Heather Kelly Photography is excited to announce our new residential newborn photography studio. The studio is a full time, dedicated studio space with private entrance. It is located in Newtown, CT, less than 10 minutes off of I-84. The studio is equipped with everything you'll need for your newborn session (as well as baby and maternity sessions).
All sessions include a 1 hour session (3-4 hours for newborns), a sneak peek on my Heather Kelly Photography facebook page, and an online proofing gallery to place your order from. Products offered: Digital Images, Desk Prints, Large Wall Mounted Prints, Gallery Wrapped Canvases, Premium Albums, and Memory Boxes, and Image Cubes.

Heather was wonderful to work with! Heather captured the most beautiful newborn pictures of my baby. She was easy to work with, responsive, and a pleasure to meet. I felt very safe meeting Heather at her newborn studio during COVID as she had implemented numerous safety precautions to promote her clients' health and safety. Heather is so wonderful to work with. She is patient, enthusiastic and professional. She is also warm, kind and thoughtful and is passionate about her work. Heather is your gal if you would like a wonderful experience beginning to end. She was kind, loving and knowledgeable in handling my newborn daughter. She asks for your personal taste in a color scheme (amongst other things) in the beginning and turns out a beautiful set of results. I was so impressed at how many options she has in her studio for varying preferences and styles. She has a very cozy setup for baby and parent alike and lets you relax and feel completely at ease while she does a great job handling baby. She's prompt, organized and seamless with communication and in all other aspects

If you're looking for top notch newborn or maternity photographer I highly recommend Heather Kelly Photography.
She did an excellent job. The photo session with my twins went better than I anticipated. I was a bit nervous and worried that two babies would be a challenge, but Heather was more than prepared and the shoot went smoothly. She does a great job of preparing you for the photo shoot.
The special moments she captures took my breathe away. I was really impressed with her patience and passion for her work.

Heather did our baby girl Paisley's newborn photos. Let's just start off by saying she is amazing. She was extremely patient and made the experience so fun to watch. Heather was also accommodating in many ways, telling us what to do before she got to our house as well as what to expect. It was incredible how she put Paisley into the positions and got her to stay. These photos are something that my family and I will cherish forever. We will definitely be using HeatherKelly Photography for many photo-shoots to come. Thank you heather!!!

Heather's photography is amazing! We were lucky enough to have her photograph our 3-year old for Christmas photos. She is extremely patient, and SO good with kids. She knows how to make them laugh and have fun, and she gets outstanding results. I wish I had known Heather when my little girl was firstborn, as her newborn shots are breathtaking! (I would advise any new parents to not wait to get photos done, they don't stay that little for long). We look forward to booking Heather in the Spring, so we can finally get that fabulous family photo.
