Our founder, Jimmy, believed there must be an easier way to load and transport his race car. It became evident that the average car trailer was not up to par. His Camaro only had 2 of ground clearance, so he set out to build a hauler that would not require the front of the trailer to be jacked up, or the use of extra long ramps to load the car.
During the early stages of the project Ford invited JIMGLO Trailers to the proving grounds to check out the Ford GT and see what obstacles would need to be overcome to transport this supercar. It is extremely low, it is extremely wide, and it is impossible to get out of the Ford GT once inside the trailer.
Loading a low car onto an open car trailer can often be a headache. All too often you need long ramps (that are usually heavy and difficult to maneuver) plus you will need to jack the front of the trailer up to improve the approach angle. Sometimes that is not even enough and you need extra blocks of wood to get your low car on the trailer.
The enclosed sports car trailer created with the sports car enthusiast in mind. The JIMGLO Envy was built to be towed with an SUV, and engineered with a low profile design so it could be parked in a standard garage. Weighing in at about 2600 pounds its one of the lightest enclosed sports car trailers on the planet.

I purchased the "Ego" car hauler from Jimglo in April of 2019. The workmanship is first class. The trailer tows very easy, smooth, and stable. I've transported everything from a lightweight BMW i3 EV to a Porsche 911 Turbo S to an almost 6000 Ib Tesla model S. The Jimglo trailer handled all very well. The staff at Jimglo are fantastic folks who care about their customers. They are responsive to calls and emails and provide great customer service.
After a few months of service I banged up the trailer here and there (my fault) and took it back to Jimglo for repairs. They repaired

I bought a used 2012 22' enclosed Jimglo trailer from a private party. It was in excellent condition but I later discovered that three of the five ramp hinges were broken. I was headed to the west coast from the Midwest with the trailer in tow and contacted Randy @ Jimglo and explained my problem. Randy gladly said they would repair the hinges if I stopped by the Kingman, AZ production facility which was fortunately on my route.

What a Great Experience! Deciding on a new trailer is never an easy decision with all the choices out there. But I did have and eye on the JimGLO EGO 18' tilt bed after seeing it at Hot August Nights. Had a great conversation with the owner and then did my homework. Ended up buying one of their trailers at a Good-Guys show, pretty loaded up with features. The process was super easy loading my first classic car and hauling it to another location. I purchased a trailer from Jim-Glo the spring of 2015. I had ordered for a month early delivery prior to my requiring the trailer for safety.
After placing my deposit I had then found out that the trailers are made by prison labour. Please note I certainly have no problem trying to provide jobs for felons trying to rehabilitate themselves. However, this should be declared upfront to ensure you can make an informed decision on purchasing the trailer.
Unfortunately the prison had a riot that June/July and they shut the prison down and locked out the Jim-Glo personnel from entering. I had been calling
