Tim Brewer founded the tree service that bears his name in the late 1990s and has been working as a certified arborist for more than 20 years. Tim earned his master's degree in agriculture from Oregon State University and began his career as a licensed contractor, then enrolled in an arboriculture course at Linn-Benton Community College that hooked him on the field of trimming and caring for trees.
He continues to learn the latest about tree care through continuing education and his membership in the International Society of Arboriculture. His company is called on by the City of Corvallis and Oregon State University for specialized tree care and removal. In addition to himself, Tim has a second certified arborist, Derick Swain, on staff who cares equally about doing a quality job in trimming and removing even the most challenging trees.

The first time I trimmed my tree was about 20 years ago, and I rented a 45 ft man lift. Yeah, now that the tree branches were growing back towards mine and my neighbor's house, I wasn't too interested in doing that again.

I had two large diseased trees in my backyard, with neighbors on two sides, so removal was tricky. Tim came out and explained the procedure, talked to the neighbors about parking their equipment on their property, got permission, and explained everything to us, several days before starting. He and his crew came at the appointed time, took down the trees, removed and chipped all the small limbs on the spot, TOTALLY cleaned up all the mess, and neatly stacked the large logs out of the way for firewood, which I donated to the gleaners for a tax write-off, using Tim's referral.
