When I first sent my twins to preschool, my son cried for 6 weeks straight. I had no idea why he was crying or what to do about it. In defeat, I finally pulled them both and enrolled them in another school. He cried for only 1 days! I had to ask why he was crying so much before and not at this new school.
Imagination Academy teaches our youngest students with age appropriate toys and teaching practices that reinforce safe yet challenging exploration. Our students are invited to use Montessori materials to develop key skills such as critical thinking and fine motor skills. We are working on beginning literacy skills and social emotional skills to prepare children for their next steps in learning.
The Montessori method creates classrooms of mixed age children who learn together in peer based groups. Our Shooting Star classroom is for our students aged 3 to 6. We provide Montessori teaching in a prepared classroom with special emphasis on skills needed for kindergarten and beyond. Children collaborate in class projects, help each other in small group activities, and work independently in single child lessons.
Fun and educational, with activities designed so they don't forget key skills in the long days of summer. We will have themed activities including the human body, rainforests, the solar system, and dinosaurs. Fun, talented and energetic teachers will provide hands on learning opportunities for your six year old.

I love the teachers, playground and activities my child has experienced at Imagination Academy! The facility is top-notch with Montessori style sinks and bathroom and a healthy meal program. Everything is so organized and always clean!! I really value the time my child gets to spend at the school. A+
