Dr. Pedram Aslmand is the Medical Director at Advanced Foot and Ankle Center, Inc. In more than 20 years of practice, he has become an expert in arthritis therapy, sports medicine, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Under the direction of Dr. Aslmand, Advanced Foot & Ankle Center has become a premier destination for receiving proper diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of foot and ankle disorders.
Dr. Mariam Botros is an Orange County native. She graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, Ca and completed her undergraduate education at UC San Diego, where she received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in General Biology. Dr. Botros pursued her passion in medicine by attending Western University's College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, Ca.
Our feet are an intricate and precise machinery, each comprised of 26 bones. These along the ligaments and tendons help support our body and keep it mobile. The feet take tremendous abuse, and not just from athletes. Most people don't give their feet a second thought until something goes wrong. Yet something goes wrong quite often: Foot pain afflicts four out of five adults, especially after age 50.
Achilles tendinitis is inflammation, irritation, and swelling of the Achilles tendon (the tendon that connects the muscles of the calf to the heel). There are two large muscles in the calf, the gastrocnemius and soleus. These muscles generate the power for pushing off with the foot or going up on the toes.
There's no single 'best shoe' - everyone has different needs. All sorts of things - your biomechanics, your weight, the surfaces you run on, and obviously, the shape of your feet - mean that one person's ideal shoe can be terrible for another person. We divide our shoes into three main categories (cushioned, stability and motion control); and three minor ones (performance training, racing and off-road).

I was a new patient, and was expecting some delay -- however I was roomed right away, the doctor was in the room quickly, he got the X-rays done, and I was out in less than 30 minutes with all the I formation I needed for a persistent foot pain that everyone had said was a soft tissue injury, and turns out it's a spot of arthritis. Walking? No problem, it's good for me (instead of bad for me...). Fast, efficient, great personality and communication, didn't seem rushed and answered all my questions. **warning -- the parking for this building is across the street, and the sign is faded

The receptionist helped me with a walk in appt. We had talked about a appt and I did not take the appt she suggested. I showed for the appt I did not take and they took me any way. The doctor was so helpful and kept me in formed on everything he was doing. I was grateful to the whole staff I needed treatment ASAP due to the fact that I have 3 infected blisters and they took me in ASAP. If you ever need a foot Dr. choice Advanced Foot & ankle Center.

Once again, Dr. Aslamand performs. I have been going for about three years and because of the amount of walking I do, sometimes I have a problem. The last one was an inflamed tendon in one of my feet. Dr. Aslamand is a minimalist when it comes to drugs and injections. He gave me one small steroid shot when it began and told me to keep walking. I had a brace for a while and he recommended a shoe for me and now I am mostly pain free.

For 5 months I have been in pain and limping unable to do any sort of running or impact. Being a mom of 2 young kids the last 5 months has been super rough. One visit, I'm 95 percent better and actually got a full one mile jog in. This dr is kind, compassionate and so helpful and I am so thankful I found him! A few weeks ago I had to have a toenail removed due to an injury. I was in a solid amount of pain, so I went to urgent care, and they told me they couldn't help me. I called another podiatrist and their wait time was over 2 hrs. So after dealing with 3 urgent care centers and 2 other podiatrists, I decided to call Advanced Foot & Ankle Center. I'm so glad I did! Not only was Debbie super helpful over the phone, but she said they could see me right away. When I got there, I waited only about 10-15 mins before I got to see Dr. Botros and the procedure was done in less than 5 mins. She

I was suffering g from pain in the ball of my right foot. I figured out by trial and error I needed an injection for Morton's Neuroma. I could not find any podiatrist offices in the Palm Desert area with the required percentage of alcohol injection. I finally found this office in Long Beach. I met with Dr. Miram Botros and right away I could tell she was knowledgeable, professional and very thorough on what she could do to help me. Literally after one injection my foot felt better. I went back for two more shots over the next 6 weeks. I can happily say that I am back to my normal life. She

Called to make appointment and was seen in few days. Everyone in office was efficient and very friendly. Dr Aslmand pinpointed my problem promptly. In the week after I felt much better. I’m sure in weeks to come he can help me be pain free.

I had my initial appointment with Dr. Aslmand .
He is very friendly and very professional. He was able to tell me what's the cause of the pain on my R foot.
The staff are very warm in welcoming the patients and helped me immediately when I had trouble with the foot brace.

Amazing, caring and dedicated doctor. A couple of months ago, I developed a sharp pain at the bottom of my heel. I was so focused on work that I kept ignoring the pain and taking over the counter pain killers. It eventually got to the point were I couldn't handle the pain, the shoes and the pain killers were not doing anything besides upsetting my stomach.
