SOUTHWICK Liquid Waste has decades of experience in the septic industry. The company was started by Clyde Southwick and was formerly known as both Big Clyde's Sanitation and as Southwick Sewer and Drain. Brad and Jackie Southwick ran the company for over 30 years. During that 30 year span, Jason Kubik worked for 8 years and purchased the company in 2013.
The current owners Jason and Jaime Kubik are working to maintain the service customers have associated with the Southwick name but also use current technology to help the company run more efficiently. Southwick Liquid Waste offers both residential and commercial pumping services with the largest capacity truck in the Lincoln and Omaha area.

Southwick Liquid Waste wants our customers to get the best service. We work to hire dedicated, knowledgeable employees. Southwick Liquid Waste provides complete residential pumping services. All septic systems need to be pumped regularly to help maintain the overall system. The recommended industry standard for septic tank pumping is every 3-5 years based on activity level. The more people you have living in your home the more frequently you need to have it pumped.
These services can be scheduled for periodic maintenance throughout the month/year, or on an on-call basis. All waste is disposed according to local codes and requirements. Commercial liquid waste can be a little different than residential septic pumping. Many times it requires different capacities of trucks.
If you live in the country (or are building outside of the city limits) your home requires its own wastewater treatment system otherwise known as a septic system. The above diagram shows the components of a septic system which is basically a tank and a drainfield. Just to give you a short little lesson, ALL THE WATER leaving your home goes first to the septic tank and then slowly to the drainfield.

We highly recommend Southwick Liquid Waste. My wife and I lived in town for 21 years before deciding to move to the country. We always had a water softener, but no experience with how that might affect a septic system. We had water standing on top of the ground in the lateral field and thought our system had failed. Jason asked how often our water softener was cycling/discharging and suggested we adjust it before doing anything else. We changed the cycle, still had soft water and the excess water problem went away. We were prepared to put in a new system - Jason's advice saved us thousands of dollars

Had an exceptional experience with Southwick Liquid Waste. They replaced our tank and installed the new one properly. The prior issue we had was due to an incorrect tank installation in 2007 by another septic company. Southwick was prompt and installed the tank and cleaned up all the dirt work afterwards! System works extremely well now.
