Carol joined Dr. Work in 1989 when he opened his practice. Carol graduated from LCC in 1991 with a Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Carol's very personable gentle nature will make you feel right at home. Carol is an avid U of O fan and is very involved serving her community volunteering with the Pleasant Hill Fire Department and Serbu.
I am a native Oregonian born in Klamath Falls in 1963, we moved to La Grande when I was 2 and I remained there thru undergraduate college where I received a BS degree in chemistry. I was accepted to OHSU School of Dentistry and graduated in 1989. After a short stint in Corvallis Oregon as an associate dentist I purchased a dental practice in Springfield.

I have been going here for cleanings for around two years and have been very happy. They offer sedation dentistry (ie laughing gas) for cleanings which is a must for me. Their dental staff holds the perspective that unless something demands attention, it isn't their job to mess with it, which is something I appreciate in a medical facility. They do offer cosmetic treatments as well. Cleaning w/ gas set me back about $400.

It was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dentist!! Carol is so AWESOME!! She made me feel so good about myself with an ugly issue I had from plaque build up caused from my C-PAP machine. My teeth look and feel so good!! Can't wait to start some of my other repairs!! Sarah at the front desk is very nice and so sweet and helpful!! The Doctor was very good about getting me over my fears and helping me understand that the damage can be fixed in other parts of my mouth!! I just love these guys they are the best!!

I am someone who has an irrational fear of the dentist. This was by far the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. Great service from check in thru the check out process. Carol was amazing very comforting and professional. Not once was I made to feel uncomfortable. I have neglected my teeth for years and now look forward to going back and getting them back to a healthy state. I highly recommend this dental office it is very comforting.

I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone. I'm new to the area and needed to be seen for a bonding on my teeth, was very nervous about the procedure and all of the staff was very welcoming. I was able to get in quickly, the office is comfortable and the office staff is great. The dentists was great and did a wonderful job. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my dental care needs!

I had such a huge dental phobia that I don't even know how to describe it. I was sent to Dr. Work by another dentist that couldn't quite deal with the fear. Dr. Work sat with me and asked me about the fear and let me hold the dental tools, and did some talk therapy with me (unofficial I'm sure, but he was pretty good at it) and now my fear has decreased so much that I can now do some of the dental work without even nitrous (which I never thought I could do before). I will never see anyone else! My husband sees him now, and my grandson and some of my cousins. This guy is THEE dentist to have if
