Relocating from Stony Point, New York in 2005, Louie and Tami Natoli came to Wilmington with a great deal of experience. They were in the food service business in New York. Tami worked for her parents in Tarrytown, New York, where they owned and operated a catering business for 15 years known as Carole's Kitchen.

Jersey boy looking for a good cheeseteak in town. Came here because of the rave reviews. Highly disappointed. The pictures showed a nice meaty cheesesteak which is whatnI was expecting. Paid 11 bucks for a little bit of meat and bread. I mean really? Wasn't bad but if your charging 11 bucks make it like the picture.

Meh - I had high hopes for this place after reading so many great reviews.
We've been on the hunt for great NY-style bagels -- this place just didn't deliver on the promise.
The bagels were ok -- didn't seem that fresh to me and they did not have blueberry bagels. As a New Yorker, I know I am picky about bagels and pizza. Super picky.
On top of not loving the bagels or their selection, the place just felt dirty and stale to me. Staff was pleasant.
It's not on my list of places to return.

Overall, pretty decent. Hit them up on a very busy late summer Saturday morning and we were lucky we got a parking spot out front (they have maybe 10 spaces). Ordered ahead over the phone to try and make it fast and easy upon arrival and after being put on hold for about a minute, our order was taken.

This adorable gem in Wilmington was a BLESSING to stumble upon during our Saturday morning errands! My wife and I are originally from New Jersey and were beyond pleased to find out that they have Taylor Ham here! The food exceeded our expectations and the staff was incredibly friendly. We are excited to say that we are making S&L our forever Saturday morning breakfast stop! This wonderful restaurant truly feels like home.

Today is June 5, 2020 and S&L has dine-in service now. Every item is amazing. We usually order the Ed and the Ron. Grits are mouthwatering. Hubby orders a bialy no matter what else he gets. Quiches are always delish. Take a dessert to go; bread pudding, cheesecake, brownies are mouth watering, and homemade. Service is lightning fast and staff warm and gracious.

This place was great! Very friendly staff. It was the day before Easter and the owner gave each of the kids an Easter egg with M&Ms.
I had the Crazy Jay sandwich and would definitely recommend. The smoked salmon on the sandwich was really good, but the combo of salty and sweet from the bagel and maple cream cheese made it even better.
They do have gluten free options and seem to be knowledgeable about gluten allergies.
As an added bonus they have a salt scrub in the bathroom.

I really meant to take a photo of my sandwich (the Godfather), but by the time I'd thought of it, all that was left was some crumbs. I did count my fingers as well; still have 10. Great service and I arrived during the lunch rush (crazy busy, but that is always a good sign). The aromas that greeting me had my mouth watering even as I walked in; whether take out or eat in, the service is great and very efficient.
