Absolutely love this place. We don't have an RV but we meet up with several family members that do for Thanksgiving dinner.
The services are excellent including small cabins. The surrounding area has plenty of hikes which are amazing.
The cherry on top were the restroom facilities which not only have warm showers but are immaculate.

This was our second stay here. No where does it talk about paying electric, but we were charged for it. I appreciate them wanting to keep the place up but blowing leaves everyday all day long is not necessary. We made reservation prior to the price change which they didn't honor. Needless to say we won't be returning.

Beautiful, rustic RV park is flooded with trees and bushes and is meticulously maintained by the nicest, most friendly staff. The common area is way cool for a good group BBQ or story telling around a fire. The Camp Hosts were very welcoming to us and even more to our dog 🐾, giving him lots of attention and a tiny bag of treats. Great size RV sites with plenty of room to accommode slides. We will be staying again!

This was the most beautiful RV park we’ve seen. It was so clean, and well kept, we were so impressed! The park is also covered in trees, so shade is abundant. Our spot was huge, and felt private because of the large tree and the wood fence that surrounded it. We noticed that many of the spots in our row were laid out similarly. Everyone was so friendly as well, we felt at home and will definitely go back!

Clean sites after each camper leaves. Friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and so are kids. Restrooms and laundry room are cleaned daily and well maintained. Our site is by the road so it is somewhat noisy but we have gotten to see javelina and coatimundi. Others have seen owls, hawks, etc. Cabins are great too.

Our goal was to spend a few nights with full hook-ups to get some much needed business/work completed after several weeks spent boondocking. The campground is a very nice and quiet campground. Clean and spacious restrooms. Clean and roomy sites. Wifi is slow and somewhat annoying to use, in large part due to a third party provider chosen by the campground that requires a temporary user account and limits use to no more than two connected devices. Our primary complaint is poor customer service. We did not feel a warm welcome from the moment we arrived, though our intent was being fulfilled during

Super clean, quiet, and well shaded rv park in beautiful Verde Valley.
Full hookups at our campsite were fully functional, rv area spic and span, and facilities were consistently tidy and well taken care of.
Becky and staff are super helpful, and have ice to purchase in their little gift shop.
Bring plenty of mosquito repellent and citronella candles. In September the place was also full of butterflies. : )

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zane Grey. Friendly staff that went above and beyond to get us parked after hours due to getting stuck in a snow storm in Flagstaff. The grounds are very well kept, nicely treed, and adjacent to nice little trail area and creek. The sites are nice and roomy with plenty for big rigs. We'll be back for sure.

Awesome place! My wife and I just stayed 3 days, wish it was more. Campground is very clean and friendly customer service when we arrived. All hook ups are very well maintained and during this time of C19 the maintenance host went around disinfecting as people were checking out. Would stay here again and will give it 5 stars for sure. Thanks for a welcoming stay and see you soon...

Super nice park. Relatively tight, and a bit crowded, but cool. Think zen-garden raked gravel everywhere. Great vibe, day and night. Pissy phone lady will hang up on you, so be on your most gracious behavior. In her defense, I can appreciate the take-it-or-leave-it pompous attitude - it's a cool spot. Pissy groundskeeper guy will stare you down to ensure you pick up your dogshit. Yes dude, I wouldn't think of walking away without it - no need to make your guests feel like trespassers. Randy was cool. Very cool. Other guy (name lost) was cool too. I'd come back.

Zane Grey RV Park is awesome. The park is well maintained and the staff is polite and very helpful! I had a problem with my Ford F-350 and had to stay 5 extra days because of a back ordered part. The ladies in the office went out of their way to rearrange some site reservations so I didn't have to move my 5th wheel. I know it wasn't easy for them to do because it was a busy time for camping.
I would also like to do a shout out to Randy (One of the park hosts) and the extra time he takes to make sure your site is perfect. Also, a shout out to the park manager, who's name I do

Had reservations at a state park in Prescott only to find out as we pulled up it was closed. We have two small kids ages 4 & 1, & a dog so definitely not a great moment.
An Arizona monsoon was also just starting & with lots
of rain & wind we really needed a place to stay.
We called Zane Grey at about 7pm to see if they had room for us (we have a 24 foot rv) & the woman who answered the phone couldn't have been any friendlier (even though calling after hours) they had a spot specifically for people coming in after hours & a sweet sign in front of that spot saying something

We had a 3 day reservation from Goodyear AZ heading to Williams AZ. We cancelled the Williams part and stayed here at Zane Grey for 4 days.
The office staff was great. They let us check in 1.5 hrs early.
You are escorted to your site which I love. Our pull through site was very wide and long.
We were close to the dog run which is huge. Our 2 labs got to do a lot of ball chasing in there.
The park is well maintained and very clean.
They had a St Patrick's day corn hole tournament and food.
We did not participate as we were doing social distancing.
It's a very awesome group of seasonal

Recently our stay an RV park, with large trees and shaded lots turned sour. One of the office managers came and said she was OFFENDED buy bumper stickers on the tailgate. We were told to remove, hide or cover them. Which we did feeling no recourse and fear of being asked to leave we backed in. Difficulty for handicapped getting in, we decided to leave. The main problem is our rights under the First Amendment rights were abused. We have the right to free speech and expression. This is UnAmerican.

This park is what RVing should be all about. The grounds are lush and immaculately maintained. The restrooms and laundry room are also very neat and clean. The setting, on Clear Creek, is quite nice. The sites are fine gravel but, again, are beautifully maintained. All hook-up facilities are in good working order. This park shows true "pride of ownership". The staff is friendly and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The park has a great feel about it without seeming sterile. I'd put this very close to the top of my list of RV parks in the Southwest.

Next year we plan on spending a whole month at Zan Grey!
This is a place that expertly demonstrated "PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP"! The grounds are kept in pristine condition, the amenities are clean, operating exactly as they should and the people are warm, welcoming, and helpful. The grounds are gravel and the sites are all level. And the location is perfect for exploring the Verde Valley and all it has to offer.
The park is located off the highway and there is a little bit of highway noise but not enough to be a bother, unless you're very sensitive. You can walk long the river, and

We stayed 3/24/19-3/28/19 but leave 1 day early due to the fact that we can't stand "grouchy", I'll explain:
3/24-First day person who check us in is nice, we let our 7 yr old play with remote control and ride his kid electric motorcycle wearing his proper gear.
3/25 a different personnel came over and told my husband he does not want him riding his electric motorcycle unsupervised - mind you we were just inside for a little bit. Well, it just ruined it for the kid, made him sad and cried. It's even less crowded than the day before so I don't understand the logic

Wow. Wow. Wow.
Our first night camping in a tiny old beat up pop up trailer we bought at a garage sale and we happen to select this place. I felt like singing "Let me tell you a story 'bout a man named Jed, a poor Mountaineer barely kept his family fed...". Yeah...The Clampets had arrived in The Hills. Beverly that is. (We've since bought a much nicer newer bigger pop up.) Anyway everybody was extremely nice and welcoming. But I had to admit all those 36 foot brand new gleaming motorhomes set me back on my heels a little bit. This is the most gorgeous park I'd ever encountered

This is a very clean and well kept RV Park. The employees were wonderful-we had no complaints. This is an adult park so there were no kids (unless you count dogs as your kids). They have sewage hookup right at your spot. A water truck drives through daily to keep the dust down. There is a nice path down to the creek. We really enjoyed staying here and will be back!

We stayed at Zane Grey for our time visiting the Sedona area. We fell in love with this park. The roads and spaces are all gravel/cinder rock, but there are large trees at every space and it gives the park even more of a camping feel. The location is a few miles outside of Camp Verde which means the drive into Sedona is about 40 minutes, however the quiet feel and atmosphere is worth the drive. They have nice bathrooms/showers, covered picnic area with many tables and a community fire pit. The park is changing hands this week and we are hoping the new owners change very little.
